Intrepid is currently being review bombed on Steam, with some negative fan sentiment seen on other storefronts as well. The continued influx of negative reviews seems to be directly related to the latest ones Intrepid update.

Phoenix Labs' monster hunting game originally debuted as an Early Access title in May 2018, before receiving a full release for PC and consoles in September 2019. Its PC version has long been exclusive to the Epic Games Store, p Intrepid finally on Steam in early December 2024. The problem is further compounded by the removal of certain abilities, making it impossible for many old builds to be converted – let alone run effectively.
