Bungie gives Fate 2 fans their first look at the new exotic weapons and armor coming in the Renegades expansion. As expected, most Fate 2 The equipment on display is a classic Bungie concept Star Wars arms.
This is well known Fate 2 isn't doing so well at the moment, with the game's Steam numbers dropping to dangerous levels for a live service title. Even longtime community members like Datto and Gladd have even left and decided to take a break from the game. However, there remains hope that the Renegades expansion, due out in December, can reignite the excitement that seems to have been lost on players.
Destiny 2 Renegades Exotic Weapons and Armor
Narrated NPC Spider, the Fate 2 The Renegades trailer begins its reveal with some news Star Wars– players will be able to get weapon inspired weapons. Uncivil Discourse is clearly inspired by Han Solo's DL-44 pistol, while the A499 heavy sniper rifle looks a lot like The MandalorianAmban rifle. Additionally, Bungie showed off the Modified B-7 Pistol, All or Nothing Pulse Rifle, Compact Defender sidearm, and M-17 Fast Talker SMG.
The practice sword is a kinetic weapon, clearly inspired by the lightsaber from the Star Wars franchise. The Heirloom, a crossbow-shaped weapon that fires high-powered explosive bolts, also appears to be based on Chewbacca's Boltcaster.
In terms of armor, the trailer also gave fans a good look at exotic armor for Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans. First up is the Fortune's Favor for Hunters armor, which recharges the shield over time into the upper shield. Warlocks get Deimosuffusion, which suspends enemies near the player and deals damage over time. To most players, these two exotics seem a bit clunky, as they either contain mechanics that are already in the game, or they aren't exactly the flashiest. Many hope that there is another layer to discover for each of them Fate 2 The Renegades expansion launches.
Finally, and the item that seems to be garnering the most attention, is the Titan's practical clothing. Exotic gear gives Titan players advanced tactical aerial movement that many equate AnthemJavelin flight suits. However, some have said that the Praxic Vestment is Bungie's new take on the highly sought after Fate an exotic known as the Twilight Garrison. Instead of adding it back as is, Bungie seemingly tweaked it to become something potentially better.
