The controversial system verification system does not go anywhere. In fact, the massively popular platform for sending messages in recent weeks has attracted considerable suspicion from the United States government, along with such industrial foundations such as Fortnite, Roblox and even steam.

Discord deals with a coercive agency to complete the violation investigation. “Looking ahead,” the post continues, “We recommend that users hit to stay on the readiness when receiving messages or other communication that may seem suspicious.” This is generally good advice – do not forget to click on links from people with whom you are not personally familiar, especially on large servers where the general chat is constantly appearing.
