Does Koby still want to capture Alvida?

One piece has changed from its much calmer and simpler beginnings. What is now a massive epic following the exploitation of a pirate-filled universe was once a much simpler journey about a group of friends trying to survive in a dangerous world. Back then, each character's goals and dreams were in One piece they seemed easier because the audience didn't know how hard it would be to turn them into reality.

On the other hand, some goals were so simple that they seem to have been completely forgotten in the modern story. One piece. This includes one of Koby's previous goals, already during his introduction at the very beginning of the story, which involved capturing Alvida and bringing her to justice. The question now is, has Koby completely forgotten about his goal of capturing Alvida, or will he finally have a chance to take her down before the end of the story?

While a fight between the two would be a good reference to the early days of the series, it would be extremely one-sided, with Koby easily defeating the pirate. While Koby is generally a man of his word, it seems likely One Piece's the future high-ranking Navy SEAL most likely forgot about Alvida or assumed she was defeated at the beginning of the story. Although One piece is great at tying up loose ends, characters keep making vague statements that generally don't mean much. However, should Alvida and Koby reunite before the end of the year One piececan provide a funny scene between the two One Piece's earliest characters.
