This is an era of peace and growth Dr. Stone anime as the Spring 2026 season enters May. Senku Ishigami is finally freed from the terrifying man-on-man conflicts that defined the first two Science Future Arcs, meaning he can devote 100% of his brain power to expanding his tech tree, which is saying a lot. The last two episodes reveled in this kind of prosperous peace, and Science Future Episode 30 is about to do the same.
The invention of flying drones and radar were pretty nifty innovations, but all of that will pale in comparison to the dawn of the computer. Any anime fan will agree that it is and an invention of the 20th century, and Senk's team of astronauts will not leave Earth's orbit without it. Only small technological steps have been taken so far, but it's a promising start and all Dr. Stone fan knows what happens when the Kingdom of Science launches a new project. The only real obstacle now is deciding who will go to the moon and when they will return.

Chrome calculates another way to complete the mission to the moon
Senka doesn't mind playing the long game after Blastoff
Sai Nanami joined Senku's team of friends in the Kingdom of Science, resulting in him enabling Senku almost ruthlessly. For the most part, Senku is a cautious leader and inventor who only takes risks under extreme circumstances, but this time Senku is quite bold – too much so in Chrome's eyes. Now that Senku has a computer expert on his team and Dr. Xen's help to build a proper rocket and lander to the moon, Senku is done playing games. Going to the moon is already an extreme step, but Senku doubles down on his efforts by deciding to petrify the lunar team once there. Senku keeps them waiting for years or even decades before rescue can arrive.
This will undoubtedly help shape the story Dr. Stone30th episode in its final season and possibly beyond. The classic power of friendship is the only reason the Kingdom of Science has gotten this far, and it's the only reason anyone would agree to board a rocket expecting to be deliberately petrified after the Why-Man showdown. In Senku's eyes, it's okay to wait years for rescue once Why-Man is neutralized, but not everyone in the Science Kingdom wants to play so fast and loose with everyone's lives. Chrome, to name one, secretly protests this plan and explains its alternative to Suika. This may lead to a high-stakes but low-drama showdown in Episode 30.

One Piece's Elbaph Arc officially introduces The Sword of God
The Elbaph arc brought down the god of the One Piece world and with it the ultimate sword called Nemesis.
Chrome was one of Senko's first allies in the new stone age and Dr. Stone fans knew that Senku kept his cool and was flexible if someone could pitch him a solid idea. No one expects shouting or broken friendships if Chrome objects to Senku's plan, but fans can expect more obstacles. Senka will likely find Chrome's two-way monthly plan impressive and appealing, but whether it works may be in the hands of both boys. The harsh reality of space travel may decide their next move and Senko and Chrome, not to mention Sai and Dr. Xeno, they can have their own input on the decision to proceed.
Sai Nanami is able to help with the help of the newly invented computers and restored brotherly bonds with Ryusui to settle matters with Ryusui's expert guidance that supported him. The brothers are two of the Science Kingdom's most powerful citizens, and with their computers on hand, they can run simulations until the whole team decides whether Senko or Chrome has the best idea—or maybe a third day will come. Episode 30 is poised to settle the matter once and for all, and there's definitely a deal to be made before the rocket is built and used.
