Every Epic Goody in DND Forgotten Realms, Heroes Of Faerun, Rated

When you're looking for a higher level Dungeons & Dragons content and gameplay, since your table has all the lower level content behind it and is ready to level up your game, you might want to reward them with Epic Boons. As you level up, you'll be able to access them at the highest level of the game, as these perks require you to be level 19 or higher to pick them up.

Epic Boons are some of the best upgrades your character can get at higher levels aside from legendary weapons. These perks can be used as rewards for completing epic quests or achievements such as completing a personal story. Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerun brings even more Epic Boons.

Level List Explained

WITH HIS SIMBUL'S SYNOSTODWEOMER CHARM, SIMBUL PROTECTS HIS SISTER DOVE FALCONHAND IN THE BEATLE IN DND. Simbul protects his sister from Ioannis Fiore

Epic Boons is meant to be just that, Epic. That's why only the best of the best will be ranked first.

These S-tier boon they are supposed to be use without further prerequisites except their level. This allows them to be overall best options for each player.

A-tier Epic Boons are more specific, meaning they are good (as good as S-tier options in some cases), but their requirements or other aspects make them less universal collection.

B-tier Epic Boons are typical too general to be goodor offer options you may find in other perks or items it might be more interesting to choose.

S-Tier

Deryan Kaya fights the Blue Dragon with a horde of summoned constructs in DND. Deryan Kaya Blue Dragon Battle by Kateřina Ladon

These Epic Boons are great for any character and are unique enough that there are no easy substitutes for their properties. While most Epic Boons can be replaced with other options based on the class you chose, these are all the best options, regardless of your previous choices.

S-Tier

Blessings of Communication

Two things that make it S-tier goodness are not have disadvantage to affect enemy creatures and telepathy with a range of 120 feet. These options cannot be overcome. Understanding of all languages written or heard without a spell is also nice.

The Blessing of Desperate Resilience

Immune to every type of damage except strength while Bloodied means you won't have to fear death as much. It's a passive advantage that can save your life.

Blessing of Liquid Forms

While druids may have a rough end here, grants the druid shapeshifting ability to any other class and the character works well for both combat and roleplaying. An entire unique class ability in a single boon.

While druids won't find use in Boon of Fluid Forms, it's ridiculously good for every other class that hasn't multiclassed there. The capabilities alone allow it to sit in the S-tier, even though it's a feature from a different class.

A-Tier

Spellfire Initiate members who wield spells together in the DND Forgotten Realms. Spellfire Initiate by Taras Susak

These boons are good; however, they can easily be replaced with certain spells or abilities. They can also be bypassed in other ways, or their utility just isn't as strong as some Epic Boons in S-tier.

Blessings of abundant health

Ability to use the highest possible number for each hit die when regaining hit points he is great Extra temporary lives are fine. Other classes can do similar options without wasting it unnecessarily.

Bonus excellent glow

Again with help highest number of damage dice at such a high level it delivers epic moments and tons of damage done. Unfortunately, it is only for Radiant damage and can only be done once a long rest.

Blessing of the Raging Storm

This boon requires Spellcasting or the Pact Magic feature use. Resistance to lightning and thunder is good but limited. The Immunity that kicks in when Bloodied he is great The disadvantage on saving throws against your spells is fine, but then again demoted to Thunder or Lightning damage only.

Blessing of the Soul Drinker

Resistance to cold and necrotic damage seems pointless to you at such a high level, since you probably already have it some other way. Using your reaction to regain 50 health after reducing an enemy to 0 is a real asset here. It can be done after every short or long rest also.

Blessing of Bloodshed

This good is great for finishing off bloodied enemies. The the extra damage is niceas well as Advantage on next attack. There's no special ability here, though, and it's pretty basic otherwise.

While these perks are a little more tailored to specific classes or abilities, they still work in a pretty broad sense.

Epic Boons like Boon of Furious Storm are only A-tier and not B-tier because while it has prerequisites to grant immunity at the right time (when Bloodied, meaning half your lives or less), getting a half-life immunity to a specific damage type for free is pretty good.

B-Tier

B-Tier

Favor of fortune

Rerolling a failed saving throw is good; however, there are much better options available. You can do this just by getting Heroic Inspiration in other ways. The only good thing is that it does works at the start of each turn.

Boon of Poison Mastery

Help the highest dice damage for Poison damage is great. Unfortunately, they exist tons of enemies and creatures Resistant to Poison damage. Immune to Poison damage and status can also be obtained in other, simpler ways, such as items.

A blessing of joy

Otto's Irresistible Dance is a fun spellbut wasting that Epic Boon not losing concentration and wasting spell components seems like a waste. Unenchanted casting is awesome, but a few creatures have immunity or resistance to enchantment.

Boon of Terror

This boon requires the creature to be already frightened when the line starts near you. All you can do is make it move away from you, and that's all you can do after a short or long rest. Expertise in intimidation seems useless to me most of the time and Immunity to Scare is nothing special either.

Blessing of the Bright Sun

Emanating Bright Light doesn't seem very useful at level 19 or higher. Most of the darkness created by spells can be destroyed by other means at this level. The the best part is getting 10 temporary health at the start of each of your turns. However, this too can be done in other ways.

While these Epic Boons aren't outright bad (as none of them are, otherwise they wouldn't be considered epic), there are only a few that center around a specific operation or element. Unfortunately, many offers for these Epic Boons will already be granted through magic items or other means before players reach level 19 or higher.

They will also work better for specific classes, making them less generally good. Otto's Irresistible Dance, while preventing the enemy from casting verbal spells, is still a level six spell that may not pay to lose more Epic Boon opportunities.
