While some games will be released in December, November 2025 will be the last really busy month. The year has already produced more than enough new open world games to employ someone by the end of 2026, but the releases just keep coming. Compared to October's lineup, the upcoming month doesn't have as many big names; however, roughly the same number of projects are set to drop, even if they are more specialized.
Since it is more unknown, it is difficult to predict which one Open world games from November 2025 turns out to be the right choice and you may miss out on something that suits your preferences due to the huge number of versions that happen every day. So let's go through all the confirmed titles slated for the month that will hopefully leave their mark on the genre.

Tales of Old: Dominus
Open world Medieval base building game
An ambitious indie game that seeks to combine a medieval fantasy setting with real-time action combat, stealth, RPG customization and base building, Tales of Old: Dominus gained some strength over the course of the year. The story is all about revenge as you step into the shoes of a survivor trying to get back at the nobles responsible for burning down his house, a process in which you lead a rebellion and revive the villages. Tales of Old: Dominus it sounds fantastic on paper, although it remains to be seen whether all its elements will come together to form a cohesive whole. A demo of the older build was tentatively released in May 2025 and was rough but showed potential.
Honeycomb: The World Beyond
Survive in a wonderful sandbox
Honeycomb: The World Beyond it looks amazing and brings to life an alien planet that has unique flora, fauna and wildlife. Unlike many of his contemporaries, Honeycomb opts for vivid and colorful visuals along with a first-person perspective. As a bioengineer stranded on Sota7, your goal is not just to survive, but to thrive, discover, learn, and create. Along with exploring this beautiful world and avoiding death, you will be able to expand your base of operations, so the game should have a base building aspect.
From ash and steel
Action RPG in an open world of dark fantasy
One of The most anticipated open world games of November 2025, From ash and steel takes cues from classic RPGs like Gothicso expect a fairly difficult experience that doesn't try to push you through the experience. The game, without a tag system, requires players to explore a dilapidated medieval kingdom that has seen better days, while gradually mastering combat that features a variety of stances and skills. You'll need to gain allies, but also exercise caution to avoid avoidable death. From ash and steel it covers survival elements like hunger quite extensively, which may not be to everyone's taste.
BattleGroupVR2
The universe in the palm of your hand
Now here is something completely different from all the others An open world game from November 2025. As its name suggests, BattleGroupVR2 requires a VR headset and is coming to both Steam and Meta. People who played the first game probably know what to expect from the sequel, but BattleGroupVR2 should be impressive. This real-time strategy game not only puts you in the hot seat of the fleet, but also puts you directly into the battles, requiring you to make decisions in the heat of the moment and not just as a godlike figure from above. In general, RTS projects have open-ended maps rather than conventional open worlds, but BattleGroupVR2 it specifically promotes the open world as a procedurally generated galaxy.
Sword of Justice
The free-to-play open-world MMO makes the jump from mobile
Although available on Android and iOS devices from 2023, Sword of Justice will make its debut on Steam on November 7, 2025. We are proud to announce that it does not contain grind and Play-2-Win elements, this free-to-play game should have great visuals and a rich environment based on Eastern culture. Sword of Justice promises an experience that will reward both casual and competitive players, allowing everyone to choose the play style that suits them best. There's even an NPC companion system designed to allow solo players to tackle dungeons that would normally require a party. Sounds good to me.
Skopje '83
Zombie shooter with Roguelite World
Stand out from the crowd with comic art style, Skopje '83 is engaging and has the potential to be one of the nicest surprises of November 2025. You have to explore a zombie-infested city while upgrading your bus, collecting loot, and managing things like hunger because it's a survival game (albeit with a story and a sense of mystery). An interesting feature is that the world should change whenever you die, so you can't just replay the same game. It should help keep things fresh in the long run.
Winter burrow
The cutest open world hero ever
November 2025 probably has too many open world survival games, but make no mistake Winter burrow for any of the others. Similar to Don't starvePlayed from an isometric angle, the game plunges players into the heart of the snowy wilderness and challenges them to create, build and live their best life. You also play (and customize) the cutest mouse ever as he tries to fix up his home and find his lost aunt. Although part of the survival genre, the game specifically focuses on a cozy atmosphere, so it should not be extremely difficult.
Dynasthir
Soulslike Open-World Game
Dynasthir will attempt the difficult task of combining Soulslike gameplay with open world design, a mix that has only been attempted a few times so far. With a hands-free approach, the game leaves you to your own devices in a world that has no time to live. While this is fairly typical of the Soulslike genre, the combat is fairly fast and varied, and the same can be said for the customization.
Where the winds meet
The biggest open world game in November 2025
no questions asked Where the winds meet is November's most hyped open world game, and it's not hard to see why. For one thing, Everstone and NetEase will be free-to-play, which will at least lower the barrier to entry and attract people who might otherwise be on the fence. Second, the action RPG has visuals that could put most AAA projects to shame, along with a beautiful world that takes players back to ancient China. The rhythmic wuxia combat looks to seamlessly combine melee, ranged, and magic, and the available footage showcases fluid movement and impressive animation. Honestly, Where the winds meet it looks too good to be true, but let's hope it lives up to its great potential.
Sacred 2 Remaster
We're bringing back the action RPG classic
Last Sacred the game was released in 2014 and Sacred 3 was not particularly well rated. Nowadays, the series is mainly remembered Sacred 2great Diablo– as a hack-and-slash romp with a fairly huge world that can be explored relatively freely, by traditional isometric action RPG standards. Sacred 2 Remaster will attempt to introduce the game to a new audience while providing the perfect experience for die-hard fans who crave replays.
