Never enter alone
Raiding with a team is difficult, but raiding alone is almost impossible
While it may seem tempting to go on a raid alone, it's not a good idea. Even with a full team of experienced players, completing a raid is incredibly difficult. Needless to say, if it's tough in four people, it's almost impossible to complete the raid alone.
There are some incredibly talented players working on ways to complete raids on their own. However, these players are rare. The chances of most regular players completing the raid alone is virtually zero. So it's always best to join a team when trying to complete a raid.

Don't lead a team until you're ready
First, decide to be a team member
Unlike Daily Ops and Expeditions, players should think twice before starting a raid team. If the player doesn't have enough experience clearing raids, they should spend some time server hopping and joining existing teams.

Raids are incredibly fast. If a player leads a team and doesn't know what they are doing, then the chances of survival are slim at best. Unfortunately, if the team leader dies, team members often leave to find a more experienced leader. Until a player is confident that they can lead a team, they should consider playing as a team member to gain some valuable experience.

Power Armor Is King
Craft the highest level Power Armor set
While it is possible to raid using normal armor, it is much more difficult. This game mode is significantly easier if the player is wearing a full set of top tier Power Armor like T-65, Union or Hellcat. When it comes to completing raids, players need as much stamina as possible.
Poison resistance is a must for this game mode, making Union Power Armor a very valuable piece of kit. If possible, the player should work towards unlocking the full set as it offers a very good poison resistance bonus when wearing the full set.

Use Funky Duds to make things easier
One of the best legendary perks for completing raids
There are many enemies in this game mode that deal a lot of poison damage, especially the Ultracite Terror. It's best to max this card because it costs a lot of legendary perk coins. Still, players can get away with using this perk at level 1 or 2. However, the higher the level, the better. Combined with a full set of Union Power Armor, this legendary perk becomes very useful. In fact, it can mean the difference between success and failure.
4
Bring several weapons suitable for each boss
Turn well armed
Each of the main stages of the raid contains a different type of enemy. There are robots, mole miners, humans and more. Players should bring at least one weapon that is useful for clearing each of the raid missions.
For example, the first stage requires players to take down a robot: EN06 Guardian. Bring a good Troubleshooter weapon to maximize damage. If the player has one weapon for each individual phase of the raid, then their chances of completing the raid increase.
3
Communicate with teammates
Take down bosses as a unit
Most players turn off their microphones while playing. However, this should not prevent players from communicating with each other. Whether it's through messages or in-game actions like signaling to other players which enemy to attack, players should try their best to communicate with others.

Completing a raid is much easier if all team members work in unison. For example, the second phase requires players to defend the exercise while collecting fuel. Instead of having all the players running around trying to do both jobs at once, it is much more beneficial to split the team into two sub-teams, one to defend the exercise and the other to gather fuel.
2
Know when to start over
Sometimes the best option is to start over
Players have one life per section. If a player dies during a raid segment and the rest of the team doesn't complete it, the mission will fail and all participants will have to try again. This can be frustrating. However, sometimes it's better to die and start over.
If a player is taking on Ultracite Terror and two teammates die within the first few minutes, it may be best to die on purpose. Although it may sound counterintuitive, knowing when to start over can be very helpful. Not only does this help conserve ammo, but it also keeps other team members engaged, making them less likely to quit.
1
Bring plenty of supplies
Bobbleheads, magazines and food can help increase your chances of winning
Players will need all the support they can get to complete the raid. While weapons, armor, and perks are key, some players overlook consumable buffs like Bobbleheads and magazines.
Before starting a raid, players should look at their loadout and weapon selection and bring any consumable that offers them support. For example, Bobblehead heavy weapons give players a decent boost to their heavy weapon damage. Players should spend some time collecting as many useful consumables as possible before starting a raid.
