Funko Fusion just received a massive update patch that adds quality of life improvements and bug fixes across the board. Funko recently partnered with 10:10 Games for an epic crossover game featuring the popular line of Funko Pop figures and franchises such as Back to the future, Five Nights at Freddy'sand Team Strength 2 in Funko Fusionwhich launched on Windows and current-gen consoles on September 13. The Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions are due out on November 15.

So far the reaction to Funko Fusion were mixed, with much of the criticism directed at its formulaic combat and repetitive missions. Redundant backup has been added so players don't lose their progress, and the UI for the level screens has been tweaked to make the Cameo IP easier to see.

There are also many bug fixes and gameplay tweaks in several Funko Fusion worlds, including balanced levels and boss fights, and fixes where players would get stuck in a certain section or be unfairly overwhelmed by constantly respawning enemies. More general issues fixed by this update include cutscenes being unskippable while playing a level, players being prevented from getting 100% health, and levels being reset without players running out of lives first.

As stated earlier, Funko Fusion it's getting a mixed reception, but there's still plenty of time for the game to get support with future update patches and DLC additions. This first major patch is off to a solid start and provides many of the expected tweaks and fixes to help players get a more enjoyable gaming experience. GLOBAL

  • After completing the introductory tutorial level, players can now choose and play as any unlocked character in Story Mode using the Golden Pop! character select box in any level or via gold pop! boxes in the center after completing the first level. Get melee inside any level! Box and bike to Golden Pop! Box and then choose your character.
  • Players can now unlock all four of the world's core characters by completing the first level of that world.
  • Players can now unlock the second world for just one Gold Crown earned by completing one level. The price to unlock the Second World Gate was reduced to two gold crowns and so on.
  • The hub flow has been adjusted to direct new players to unlock the second world after completing the first level of the first world.
  • Crown Buy Machines in levels now require less vinyl to produce a silver crown. Spend vinyl freely on items and gold chests and experiment with random combinations of weapons and gadgets!
  • Players are no longer interrupted by hits or shots while drinking soda.
  • Increased soda drinking rate.
  • Players are now invulnerable when using CCTV monitors.
  • Players are now invulnerable when using the Mold Machine.
  • Player lives increased from 3 to 5.
  • Added additional save data redundancy to prevent loss of save game data.
  • Adjusted text when the player is a ghost to better inform them to approach the Pop! Box.
  • Reduced sprint stamina cost by half, allowing players to sprint twice as long.
  • Added green crosses on the heart sensor for better visual clarity.
  • Adjusted the brightness of hologram placement for items the player must place to help highlight them.
  • Adjusted the UI for the level screens to make the Cameo address easier to see and help players see where the Cameo levels are in the game.

  • Changed the number of gold crowns needed to access the final boss fight to 35, down from 45.
