The recent beta 6.6 change may have confirmed Stellar Reactions as the next Genshin Impact a game mechanic, likely debuting in version 6.7 before fully launching in Snezhnaya. Since version 4.0, Genshin Impact tried to give each area a gimmick that goes beyond the basics of Elemental Combat. For Fontaine it was Arkhe; for Natlan it was Nightsoul; and for Nod-Krai it was his Lunar Reactions. While Arkhe only played a small role in defining the region's meta, since 6.5 Lunar Reactions have firmly established themselves as the best way to deal Genshin Impactgame over.
While Nightsoul was unlocked for both 4-star and 5-star Natlan characters, including Pyro Traveler, Lunar Reactions proved to be considerably more restrictive. Only 5-star characters from Nod-Krai can enable lunar reactions across the team, with a pair of hypercarries and supports designed for each element. Dendro has Nefer and Lauma for Lunar-Bloom, Geo has Zibai and Linnea for Lunar-Crystallize, and Electro has Flins and Ineffa for Lunar-Charged. As the archon equivalent of Nod-Krai, Columbina sits as the capstone of any Lunar Reactions v team Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact leaks banner characters for version 6.6
A reliable source from the Genshin Impact community reveals which 5-stars will make up the Event Banners in Heavy version 6.6.
Genshin Impact: Stellar Reactions added and removed from v6.6
In the first build of version 6.6, dataminers discovered a direct reference to a new reaction added to Dion's ability set. Called Stellar-Conduct, the reaction indicated that the HoYovers were developing an improved variant of Superconduct, a Cryo and Electro reaction reserved for specialized physical teams. At the same time, reliable sources in Genshin Impact the community talked about Snezhnaya introducing Stellar Reactions: three new Cryo variants reacting with Electro, Anemo and Dendro. While the first two have been identified as Stellar-Conduct and Stellar-Swirl, the name of the latter remains unknown, but is believed to be the overhaul of Rimegrass from the Imaginarium Theater in Genshin Impact. Jelena strangely noticed that HoYovere removed the reference from Diona's skill set, aside from confirming Stellar Reactions as the next one. Genshin Impact fighting trait.
Although it remains to be seen when HoYovere plans to implement Stellar Reactions Genshin Impactthe seeds for Stellar-Conduct have already been planted. Version 6.6 will introduce two new artifact sets, one focused on Hexenzirkel support characters and the other specifically on Superconduct buffs. Due to rumors that Sandrone is expected to make his playable debut as the character Electro Genshin Impactthe timing couldn't be more suspicious.
Unlike the previous regions, 6.7 is said to be the final Nod-Krai patch, and Sandrone is the last silhouette to remain obscured on the roadmap for Nod-Krai characters in 2026. Her introduction as a Stellar-Conduct support would parallel the introduction of Ineff at the end of Natlan in 5.8. Additionally, the superconductivity artifact set mentions “receiving a blessing from Qosmos on the way to Snowy”, echoing how previous combat elements have been teased.

It's important to remember that version 6.6 will not feature Stellar-Conduct in any shape or form, and that the patch will heavily focus on Hexerei characters in Genshin Impact. Version 6.6 will introduce Nicole, Lohen, and Prune to the cast of characters, as well as wrap up key story threads from Nod-Krai and Sumer. Version 6.6 is scheduled to launch on May 20, 2026.
