What can you give Usahana?

Usahana's favorite gifts include items with Imagination, Mochi and Rainbow brands. When you first enter City Town, the simplest gifts available are Colorful columns which can be caught in one of the city parks. These rainbow caterpillars will spawn constantly in both areas, so you can run back and forth between them to stock up.

Usana's 2-heart and 3-heart gifts are unlocked simply by improving your friendship with her. At friendship level 3, you will receive the quest “Brand New Menu” from Usahana, which she will give you Mochi recipe. You will receive the same Dango recipe during the “Imagination Cafe” quest when your friendship with Usahana reaches level 6. Both of these recipes will create gifts with two hearts for Usahana.

While you will get a bunch of other recipes to gift to Usahana later in the game, they will all be single heart recipes. Since some of their key ingredients can be harder to come by than rice flour, Mochi and Dango recipes will be your best friends when it comes to approaching Usahana.

The 3 Hearts Gift Recipe by Usahana, Rainbow Dangowill be unlocked when your friendship with Usahana reaches level 16. To create this recipe you will need to find Rainbow Beams.

You will first be introduced to Rainbow Beams in “Rainbow or Bust” a quest started by Cinnamoroll. Visiting a town during this quest will cause the town to start raining. While it's raining, players will find Rainbow Beams scattered around City Town.

After completing the quest, it will occasionally rain in City Town. Players will also be able to find multiple Rainbow Beams scattered around the city each day, even on days when it hasn't rained.

Usahana has two companion abilities: An imaginary chef and Imagine again. The An imaginary chef the ability gives Usahana a chance to produce twice as many items from cooking stations as the player. For example, if the player made 4 Sweet Apple Boba Teas, Usahana would brew another 8 Sweet Apple Boba Teas if her skill activates.

There are three levels of the Usahana Imaginary Chef skill. The table below lists each level, its chance of success and when it is unlocked.

Having Usahan as a companion while running the Imagination Cafe will also give you extra city coins to complete orders.

Usahana Imagine again the skill allows her to imagine a minigame reward, rare flower, or item once per day. In order to use this ability, players will need to talk to Usahana, select the Reimagine ability, and give her an item. This ability is unlocked when the player is friendship with Usahana reaches level 19.

Improving your relationship with Usahana will do much more than just unlock her skills. You'll discover new quests, unlock new avatar color palettes, and get unique recipes and items. The table below lists all the rewards you get for reaching all 35 levels of friendship with Usahana.
