In an interview with Esquire, Cavill spoke about the challenges that came with the takeover of IP as depth as Warhammer 40,000. He mentioned that the revival of the tradition “dream is fulfilled”. However, with decades of content and events, its realization on the screen would be difficult, especially when it comes to remain loyal to the source material.
“But it's different from what I have done before, in the sense that I didn't have a hand on the dump before,” Cavill added. “It's great when I do it. It's a complicated IP and a very complex IP, and that's what I like.
