Fortnite has now revealed that the outage for patch v40.20 will begin at 4:00am ET. This means the servers will go down in the early hours of April 16th. Then, after a few hours, the servers should come back online once the patch is uploaded and everything is ready. Players who want to organize their game time before the update should know that matchmaking is usually disabled 30 minutes before the downtime. Therefore, they will not be able to enter a new match after 3:30 ET. Due to the popularity of other game modes, Save the World has been put on the back burner when it comes to adding new content. At this point, some players believe that Save the World is worth it for V-Bucks alone.
