Hogwarts Legacy 2 could delve deep into the wizarding world

Harry Potter has an extensive history with wizardry

Spellcrafting may simply sound like a fun way to combine iconic spells, but it actually has its roots in Harry Potter myth. Throughout the franchise's timeline, many different witches and wizards have created spells. Some of them did almost nothing, while others became an extremely important part of the story. In fact, one of the main plot points Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince are the spells that Severus Snape created and filled an old potions book with. Additionally, many fans believe that Voldemort and Hermione created spells during their time.

Spellcrafting itself is not an easy task, because if it was, then every wizard would probably attempt it. Only witches and wizards with a great understanding of magic could create their own spells. Not only do they have to create the incantation, but they also have to create the wand movements. While it is not known exactly how they do this, it is known to be very dangerous and sometimes even fatal to the person who created the spell. And all of that makes it sound like it could be a fantastic addition to the next one Hogwarts heritage.

Hogwarts Legacy 2 could take magic to whole new heights

If Hogwarts Legacy 2 connected to this part Harry Potter lore, then it could lead to something really special. Players could combine some of their favorite spells, create a wand move, give it a creative name, and then unleash it on their enemies. This allowed players to get all sorts of unique spells and effects, so no two games are the same. Plus, if Avalanche wanted to take it even further, it could allow them to actually share the spells with each other.

If the Avalanche wanted to include something like that, they could follow suit The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. In this game, players who joined the Mages Guild could gain the ability to create their own spells using the Alter of Spellmaking. This allowed them to combine the magical effects they had learned into something much more powerful. What followed was a pretty fun system that unfortunately didn't make it Skyrimbut Hogwarts Legacy 2 could fill that void.

Of course, Avalanche will have to come up with some story reason why the player character is strong enough to do this. However, it already made the hero a chosen one of his own, so there's seemingly no reason why he couldn't expand on that idea. While the spell's functionality was fairly limited, its inclusion could be a fantastic treat for fans and lead to some extremely memorable moments in the process.
