However, if you prefer to forge your own path and find your own life on your own, you'll have to flee Ganye Temple instead. You won't become an empress, but you'll see a completely different storyline with your own collectibles, endings, and much more.
Road To Empress 2 Side Story Overview
While the main objective of Road to Empress 2 is fairly straightforward in the title, with the main story goal being to become empress through a series of cunning decisions and conversations, there is an entire side story that shows the main character choosing to follow her own path forward.

Although no choices on this path lead to you becoming empressyou will experience a story completely separate from dealing with the happenings in the palace. It's a great way to explore a whole new world in Road to Empress 2 after you've completed the main story, and there are tons of collectibles and characters you won't find anywhere else in the game.
One thing you'll see here that you won't see in the main story of the game where you ascend the throne are considered “good endings” for Wu, seeing her strike out on her own and live a fulfilling life away from the watchful eyes of the royal family.
