How to Find and Evolve Dratini in Pokemon Legends: ZA

Where to find Dratini

While the vast majority of Pokémon in Legends: ZA can be found in Wild Zones, Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite cannot. If you want to catch a Dratini or maybe a Dragonair, you'll have to head to the rooftops of Lumiose.

While there's a chance you'll find Dratini on a few rooftops if you just explore, there are several confirmed spawn locations that you can check out at the beginning of the game and you can see them in the table below:

Magenta Sector 8	In Magenta Sector 8, there will be a building with a Magenta Pokémon Center. On the south side of this building you will find a Holovator. Take the Holovator to the roofwhere you will then have to cross the bridge to the roof of the next building. From this roof you will need to get to the roof north of you, but there will be no bridge. Instead, you will have to get as close to the edge as possible and dodge to get across the gap and on the other roof. Once on another roof, take the ladder and continue until you eventually reach a roof with lots of Bellsprouts. Among them you will find the unique Dratini.
Yellow sector 3	To get this Dratini, you will need the Roto-Glide featurewhich is unlocked as the story progresses. Once you have it, you will have to climb the building next to it and then use Roto-Glide to get to the building in which he resides.

There's a chance that any of these Dratini could appear as Dragonair insteadbut it is rare. in addition any of them could also appear as an Alpha Pokémonday and night.

How to catch Dratini

While many Mega Stones can be purchased from Quasartico Inc., Dragoninite cannot. Instead, you will have to continue to progress through the story until you get the chance face Rogue Mega Dragonite.
