Shock Rocks have been added to Fortnite loot pool and they come with some rather interesting effects that you might want to know about and how best to manipulate them to make your way to victory. As a new mobility item, Shock Rocks can give you height and speed to escape from fights or engage them directly. Here is their location on the map!

Fortnite: How to get and use Quack Snacks

Quack Snacks are a consumable item in Fortnite that allows you to instantly level up your Sprite to Mastery, and here's how.

Location of Shock Rocks in Fortnite

Shock Rocks are located at ground zerowhich is right in the middle of the map (just head north of the Sinister Strip, you can't miss it because it's a giant floating orb). You'll find a lot of rivers around Zero Point, and you can usually find Shock Rocks to pick up on the banks of rivers and in the sandy ground.

Shock Rocks can be “consumed” for immediate consumption or “collected” for storage. You can hold up to 6 Shock Rocks in one inventory slot. Below we share what Shock Rocks can do when you consume them and how to best use them.

How to use Shock Rocks in Fortnite

When you eat a Shock Rock, you will have three mini crystals around your character's body. Whenever you jump in the air, you jump up and forward, and you can press this button twice more to jump further and higher each time. Shock Rocks are basically used to gain speed and airtime.

While Shock Rocks cannot be used like previous iterations to teleport forward, they can be used to propel you into the air. Spamming Shock Rocks will increase your speed and height a lot more than just one press, and I've used it in the middle of fights to either get to safety in a losing battle or put pressure on a fleeing enemy.
