All in all, Tien's stats aren't anything to write home about as they are pretty basic. However, this comes as an advantage as low stats come with it low cost of DP four. What makes up for his low stats are his low skill cost and highly versatile special moves.

For starters, Solar Flare is an amazing tool against highly aggressive opponents. After activation it will momentarily stun and blind the opponentso they are open to taking a lot of damage. Be careful when activating Solar Flare, as it can be avoided and leave you wide open for opponents.

Solar Flare has super armor when activated and can only be interrupted by stronger attacks. You will still be able to take damage.

Wild Sense will automatically avoid the next melee attack the opponent throws at you and counters it with their own. That can be used both defensively and offensivelyhow can that be proactively activated and held until the opponent's first attack.

Dodon Ray fires a beam that does this travel extremely fast and deal moderate damage. It is effective as both combined paver after launch or a remote poking tool against opponents attempting to attack Ki. Its sheer speed and extremely low cost making it the most effective tool in his kit.

The Tri-Beam also shoots fast projectilealbeit with less tracking and deals slightly more damage than Dodon Ray. Although there was a slight increase in damage compared to Dodon Ray, the price is an extra Ki Gauge and it may not be worth it in the long run.

Neo Tri-Beam is Tien's ultimate attack that comes with its own unique effect. While a a single blast does fairly low damagethe move can be fired up to 10 times continuouslydrastic increasing its damage for the price depleting your health after each subsequent shot. This should be used at the end of the combo and is only really worth it when the opponent is low on health.

Neo Tri-Beam can't kill you if you waste all your health.
