How To Romance The Hex Syndicate in Warframe

War frame takes the player to the last day of 1999 when Dr. Entrati experimented on some human volunteers and injected them with the Technocyte virus to create protoframes. These volunteers are now hunting him down to answer for what he did to them, and you go back in time to find out what happened during those days.

The new Syndicate you can find in Höllvania called The Hex is a group of people trying to keep their sanity as the year comes to an end and with it the end of this ruined city as a whole. Here's everything you need to know about them.

what is hex

Hex is a syndicate based in the Höllvania Central Mall during 1999. This group of individuals is trying to find Albrecht Entrati so he can reverse the Technocyte virus that is affecting them and consists of the following members:

• Arthur Nightingale – Codename: “Broadsword”

  • The leader of the group, Arthur, is a tough guy who wants to live, but not at the cost of other people's lives, which makes him clash a bit with his teammates.

• Eleanor Nightingale – Codename: “Salem”

  • Arthur's sister and psychologists from The Hex, Eleanor, have an underlying connection to the techrot that no one wants to explore.

• Aoi Morohoshi – codename: “chopper”

  • Aoi is the mechanic and second-in-command in the group, a bubble magnetic warrior who brings fun to an otherwise dark, grim and violent environment.

• Quincy Isaacs – Code Name: “Stepper”

  • Quincy, the sharpshooter of the group and a smartass by nature, is a bad boy with a heart of gold who supports the team from a distance.

• Amir Beckett – Codename: “Jitter”

  • Group player and electronic technician Amir is a protoframe related to Volt, giving him strong electrical and speed abilities.

• Leticia Garcia – Codename: “Belladona”

  • The group's strategist and only medic, Lettie, is a Trinity protoframer with an attitude that doesn't match her amazing regenerative abilities.

How to unlock Hex Syndicate

You will unlock this syndicate once you complete the 1999 main story quest; after going back in time, you'll rewind the grim ending The Hex had during the quest, opening up new options for you to explore. This will allow the retro computer on your orbiter to display several offers in it and you will be free to travel to the mall to visit each character and discover what they have to offer.

How to rank up

To increase your Syndicate rating, you must complete rewards and farm Syndicate Standing. You start at rank 0 with a max of 5000 until you reach your limit and then bid a certain amount of items and Hollars to advance to the next rank.

Hex treasures

If you need some extra stalls, you can go to Lettie and exchange the following Hex Treasures (items you can find in missions and rewards in Holland) with her in exchange for some stalls:

Vendors and rewards

As you rank up the syndicate, you'll be able to purchase various items from Amir, Aoi, Quincy, Lettie, and Eleanor. They go as follows:

Amir

Amir sells glyphs, weapon plans, and warframe plans:

Aoi

Aoi sells several music accessories for your Orbiter:

Quincy

Quincy sells sigils, glyphs, Drifter cosmetics, weapon skins, Captura backgrounds, and Simulacrum backgrounds:

Eleanor

Eleanor sells a newly introduced batch of Arcanes. In the future, Eleanor will also sell Technocyte Coda weapons.

Arthur and Lettie do not work as vendors, instead they are NPCs that you must use to advance to the next rank and redeem Hex Treasures if you want to gain any further status.

A system of relationships and romance

Once you unlock the syndicate, a retro-looking chat platform will appear on one of the retro PC tabs on your orbiter. You have to click on each character's profile and you will notice an introductory message that you can reply to; depending on your choices, you will progress in your relationship with that character.

Plus, you'll be able to send them a gift after every chat conversation, and you'll know what to choose based on what you learn about them, which in turn leads to better results. Finally, you will also be able to gain chemistry experience by doing bounties; each reward will boost chemistry with a specific character and that character will accompany you on the mission.

Keep in mind that the results may not result in an obligatory romance and instead you may just befriend Hex members.
