How to get special store tickets
Currently, there are two ways to get special shop tickets: by consuming rare cards or exchanging regular shop tickets. The first method, consuming rare cards, involves using Shinedust and copies of rare cards. The second method, the exchange of ordinary tickets, is immediate and does not require additional resources.
How to use rare cards
- Go to My Cards.
- Filter cards by Rarity.
- Select a One-Star card (or better) of which you have at least three copies.
- Tap on Obtain Flair.
- Pay the required Shinedust to turn it into a special shop ticket.
IN Pokemon TCG Pocket, consumption card is a mechanical replacement. By selecting a card and entering its “Get Talent” section, you can view the items offered in exchange for that particular card. For one-, two- and three-star cards, one of the available exchange items is a special store ticket.
The Shinedust required to consume rare cards increases with card rarity. A One-Star Pokemon Card costs 500 Shinedust, a Two-Star Card costs 1,800 Shinedust, and a Three-Star Card requires 4,000 Shinedust.
How to buy special tickets
One special ticket can be purchased in the shop for 300 regular shop tickets. These shop tickets are earned by completing tasks, missions and objectives in various modes or by purchasing items in the shop. However, these accumulate slowly, so it is impractical to spend 300 for one special ticket. In general, it is wiser to save them for more valuable items, e.g pokemon pocket's Hourglass Pack.
Are the special store tickets worth it?
In short, no, the special tickets are not worth it. Unless you are a dedicated collector or a big spender trying to collect every cosmetic pokemon pocketit's best to skip the special shop tickets. They provide no competitive advantage and are purely cosmetic.
Fortunately, Pokemon TCG PocketMonetizing special tickets does not affect gameplay, so you don't have to worry about others getting an advantage by investing in these currencies.
