The official synopsis for the upcoming Marvel Punisher comic book series reads: “A zombie outbreak has hit Manhattan and the entire city is quickly engulfed! As Earth's mightiest heroes succumb to the virus, a barrier is hastily erected to protect the world – but a war zone has erupted inside the barrier as the survivors fight for their lives against the ever-growing horde because he is the answer to survival.” he's carving his own bloody belt through the ravaged city, and if any zombies get in his way, the Punisher has plenty of lead for them to eat!
Where is the Marvel's Punisher video game?
Unfortunately, it's not exactly what many fans want right now. More comics is always a good thing, but the Punisher has been absent for so long, remains as strong a character as ever, and yet has yet to be fully utilized. Outside of the special, which is only one episode, Daredevil: Born Again he was given a small role in season 1 and is clearly not a main character Spider-Man: Brand New Day Many Punisher fans no doubt feel it's time for a proper series of his own again, if not exactly what some fans want Punisher video game. Sagittarians are as popular as ever and their renditions Punisher a video game based on Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle sounds like a million dollar idea. Whether in first or third person, it uniquely explores the psychology of Frank Castle, whoever does it, it's been a long time since the last Punisher video game and it's time for a new one as his presence in the Marvel Universe continues to expand.
Whether that's on the table somewhere is currently unknown, though there is an extensive Marvel video game line in development. Games like Marvel's Blade, Marvel's Iron Man, and Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, as well as Marvel's Wolverine 2026, make great use of the IP as a whole, but Punisher is essentially tailor-made for video games. And yet, no developer has pursued him as a key focus (not to mention his appearance in Marvel Rivals, of course) and main protagonist since then. The Punisher: No Mercy in 2009.
Between One Last Kill, Spider-Man: Brand New Dayand Marvel Zombies: War Zoneit's clear Punisher fans are eating well this year. But ultimately, it's also pretty clear that there's a lot of potential money left on the table without a stronger presence.
