Ghostface will soon intervene Mortal Kombat 1and some fans think they've managed to unmask the killer(s) as two relatively obscure Kombatants from past games. Mortal Kombat 1 saw a lot of guest fighters and the killer Ghostface from Scream franchise will join them on November 19. Like any fan Scream movies can confirm that part of the horror of Ghostface is the idea that it could be anyone under Fun World's iconic “Peanut-Eyed Ghost” mask, and there is usually more than one Ghostface active at a time.

Neither of these two assassins were playable in the main line Mortal Kombat game since then Mortal Kombat: Armageddonand most fans didn't expect to be brought into the reboot Mortal Kombat 1 timeline to the present.


Kobra and Kira are certainly sadistic enough to fill the role of Ghostface, and the killers are former Mortal Kombat the characters would surely explain how the normally mortal Ghostface can defend himself Mortal Kombat 1's cast of martial artists, ninja warriors and all-powerful gods. Of course, Ghostface's true identity will probably not be revealed until after their Arcade mode ends, and players will have to wait until November 19th to see for themselves.
