Horikoshi, mangaka from My Hero Academiarecently recommended a brand new manga titled Ichi the Witch for fans to read.

The Ichi the Witch manga is one of the newest additions to Weekly Shonen Jump, as it only started serialization in early September 2024, so now that January 2025 has started, it's only about 4 months old. The manga has a total of 16 chapters so far and the first volume of this manga is scheduled to be released in Japan on January 4th this year.

This interesting manga is written by author Osamu Nishi and drawn by Shiro Usazaki. Some readers may also know the artist Usazaki from her work on Act-Age. However, the manga was canceled and she has now moved on to this new work.

What is Witch Ichi all about?

In a world where it is believed that only women can become witches, a boy named Ichi, after whom the series is named, becomes the very first male wizard. Witch Ichi's world has monsters known as Majiks. Defeating them is what allows her to become a witch, a feat that Ichi accomplished.
