New Nightfall, challenges and rewards

Updated October 8, 2024: Another week came Fate 2meaning missions, challenges and rewards have been reset. After a long wait, another episode Fate 2 finally arrived. As players have seen, The Revenant adds a whole new story to be interested in as the scorned leader Fikrul resurfaces after retrieving the Echo. With this new power, Fikrul raises an army of undead scorn at the expense of Elkisni, so the player teams up with Mithrax and Eido again to end this new threat.

Aside from the new story content, Episode: Revenant also sees a lot of changes coming to the game. As expected, Bungie is improving the game's sandbox with some major changes Fate 2 exotic weapons, buffing roaming supers, as well as finally allowing Titan players to truly embrace the role of a tank with some interesting buffs. The popular Onslaught mode is also seeing new content that should keep players coming back to that playlist.

As expected, Fate 2 The weekly reset is here too, bringing with it the usual updated content, activities and rewards for players to chase over the next week. For a full rundown of all the new content available for the week of October 8, including Nightfalls, Crucible modes and challenges, here's everything players need to know.

Weekly twilight and modifiers

Strike at dusk: The Lightblade

Advanced Modifiers:

• Champions: Unstoppable and Barrier
• Hero Modifiers: Extra shields. The sun and the arch.
• Galvanized: Fighters have more health and are harder to stun.
• Overcharge: Grenade Launcher and Kinetic Weapons when the player's subclass matches the active Surge element.
• Threat: Arc
• Overvoltage: Arc and stasis

Expert Modifiers:

• All previous modifiers.
• Device locked: Equipment cannot be changed after starting a mission.
• Randomized Banes: Fighters get random Banes.

Major Modifiers:

• All previous modifiers.
• Counterfeit: When defeated, fighters can drop explosives disguised as familiar items.
• Major modifiers: Locked Loadout, Extra Champions and Extra Shields.

Rotation of exotic missions

Bungie brought back various exotic missions that players could go through to earn new rewards, equipment, and also craftable versions of exotic weapons. Like the Raid and Dungeon rotator, this one changes on a weekly basis.

Raid and Dungeon Rotation

Originally introduced during Season 17, Bungie features raids and dungeons on a weekly rotation to farm with updated rewards. Starting with Episode: Revenant, Bungie is releasing 2 of each from the rotator each week:

• Best Dungeon: The Broken Throne and Duality

Ritual Activities: Crucible and Gambit

Players can earn additional rewards through Fate 2Pathfinder system simply by playing and performing certain tasks in ritual activities such as Vanguard Strikes, Crucible and Gambit.

Trials of Osiris Map and Weekly Adept Weapon

Saint-14 and the Trails of Osiris offers players high-end PvP activity in exchange for strong rewards, especially for players who go flawlessly and earn a trip to the Beacon. As with most sellers in Fate 2Saint-14 has a reputation system that rewards players for ranking up through gameplay and completing rewards.
