Elbaf's lore continues to expand in One Piece. The solar world is an interesting addition to it.

For example, around the Egghead Island Arc, Elbaf became doubly special to fans because Nico Robin, who fans know to be the Straw Hat Pirates' archeologist, realized that Saul, her benefactor, was actually alive and took refuge there. Fans knew that this reunion was going to be absolutely massive and that it was definitely one of the most anticipated. Now this reunion has been successfully depicted in One piece chapter 1133 and at the same time it became an incredibly choppy affair, with Nico Robin's flashback now getting more depth in the manga.

How fans got to know Robin's Flashback

  • Robin was part of the Ohara Scholars
  • Ohara was destroyed about 22 years ago

It's safe to say that even without what Oda revealed One piece chapter 1133, Nico Robin's flashback is one of the most touching images of One Piece. This flashback was revealed to fans in the Enies Lobby Arc, moments before Robin's iconic “I want to live” line. Robin was revealed to be a child born in West Blue on Ohara Island 22 years ago. Her parents both gave their lives to archaeology. Robin lived with her uncle and was abused throughout her childhood. In addition, Robin's Devil Fruit powers, which she had from a very young age, made sure that she was quite ostracized. After living a very difficult life and growing up alone, Robin became actively interested in books. By the age of eight, Robin had already become an accomplished scholar, which was absolutely sensational for a child. But Robin's deepest desires lay in the study of Poneglyphs. This may have been partly because her parents wanted to find out the truth about the world, but also because Robin had an inquisitive mind and knew that the scholars of Ohara were investigating something much bigger.

By then, Robin could decipher Poneglyphs and was a genius like no other. Eventually, all hell broke loose when news broke of Ohara researching the Poneglyphs and Cipher Pol was sent to investigate. After finding the Poneglyph in the Tree of Knowledge, a Buster Call was ordered and the entire island was razed to the ground. The people who managed to evacuate were killed by Akainu and there was basically a genocide of very intelligent people. Nico Robin was left as the sole survivor of Ohara Island and only managed to survive because Kuzan let her go.

One Piece will have its biggest month this year in December. Some huge projects will be revealed.

On this island, Robin also lost another of her beloved friends who was Saul, a former naval vice admiral who fought for Ohara. Saul was frozen by Kuzan and left for dead on a burning island. In the end, Robin was forced to survive on scraps. After posting a bounty of 79 million berries, Robin was hunted from the age of eight until adulthood. She did what she could to survive, but never trusted anyone again for fear that she would end up being sold to the government or killed in some other way. Robin wandered from one place to another, but eventually found a home with the Straw Hat Pirates, who fought the world for her. All of this led to Robin finally declaring that she wanted to live in Enies Lobby, and from then on she became an integral part of the crew.

Oda adds further depth to Robins' flashback

Nico Robin's flashback is even better

One piece Chapter 1133 was absolutely majestic and it's safe to say that this is one of the best chapters Oda has drawn in the entire story. This chapter adds quite a bit of depth to Robin's already great flashback while also adding to the character of Saul. Fans also learned quite a lot of details about the Ohara incident here, which certainly adds more importance to this whole massacre. It is revealed to fans that after the Ohara incident, Spandine framed Nico Robin for killing the people in Ohara.

The navy ship that Akainu sank was said to have been sunk by none other than Robin. People were told he was a demon and would kill them in their sleep. This also explains why a lot of people ended up turning on Robin and giving her location to the World Government. They were offered money and at the same time feared for their safety, probably due to government propaganda. Robin kept running from place to place with nowhere to go. actually One piece Chapter 1133 took a very dark turn as fans saw Nico Robin contemplating suicide. She planned to jump off the cliff into the ocean below, and the only reason she continued was because Saul's words still resonated with her. Robin kept breaking down over and over wondering why she had to live at all and what was the value of surviving. It is clear that Robin was suicidal as a child and depression took root deep in her mind and soul.

This small segment in One piece Chapter 1133 adds so much detail to the Ohara incident as well as Robin's struggles that fans absolutely couldn't hold back the tears. While the flashback fans got around Enies Lobby focused more on the Ohara tragedy and everything leading up to it, this flashback focuses more on Robin's journey afterward. Fans could see how Robin survived with the leftovers and was constantly running from one place to another. The way people hunted her down and tried to turn her in to the government was brought up a lot, and most of all, Robin's desire to kill herself was also quite focused, which certainly adds a new layer of depth to it. However, as fans know, Robin manages to survive and find his own family in the form of straw pirates.

One piece Chapter 1133 ended in one of the most emotional moments fans have seen Oda write into the story as Robin completely breaks down and reveals that she wanted to see Saul all along and that she wanted his praise for surviving all these years. One piece Chapter 1133 just took flashback to a whole new level and made it one of them One Piece's the best flashbacks, if not the best.

One Piece is available to read through Viz Media. Fans can officially read the series for free on the Shonen Jump and Manga Plus apps. The release date for the next One Piece chapter, One Piece 1133, is set for December 8, 2024.
