As one of his most interesting projects in development, FROM from Kojima Productions strives for a unique horror experience. Since its inception in 2015, Kojima Productions has sought to bring Hideo Kojima's bold visions to life with brand new properties. FROM promises something completely different from the stunning post-apocalyptic world of the studio's first game, Death Stranding. After a recent preview of its sequel, Death Stranding 2: On the Beachthere are also questions when the developer will reveal more about their next games, like FROM.
An open world experience Death Stranding franchise brought to life a fascinating sci-fi story, and the sequel looks set to continue to improve, at least graphically. Update for Death Stranding 2 they showcased some stunning visuals that demonstrate well done photorealism. WITH FROM given that this is a mystery horror adventure, the visuals will be an incredibly important tool in making the game's hauntings as effective as possible. Whatever update is ready FROM the next will hopefully be a look at how Kojima Productions' impressive graphics bring its horror concept to life through facial animations.

Taking Kojima Productions' Facial Capture to new heights
So far one of the only hints of what FROM has a short and incredibly bizarre trailer ready for players. In a recent interview with Variety, Kojima made that clear FROM pushes the boundaries of what gaming can be. During the interview, he stated, “It's a bit risky and a new challenge for me in gaming.” After Death Stranding experimented with the boundaries of open world environments and a lot of the wild concepts that Kojima had heard about FROM because it pushes boundaries and takes risks that are quite compelling. Death Stranding and its upcoming sequel already seem like risky projects, but the potential for FROM being even more special makes the eventual release of in-game footage that much more exciting.
A stellar cast FROM impresses with his brief performances in the game's trailer, but there's also the question of how these displays of fear translate into graphics. Vivid visuals Death Stranding 2 they promise a more realistic look, but expressions that convey fear, horror, and even disgust can be difficult to capture effectively. Screams and intense emotions can sometimes give off an uncanny valley vibe in games that could detract FROMscary. However, the trailer's focus on the actors' facial expressions suggests that it is of great importance.
Confirmed cast OD
- Sophia Lillis
- hunter Schafer
- Udo Kier
Currently, only three actors are confirmed FROMbut this trio bodes well for the project's gaming performance. Kojima likes to cast well-known actors in his projects, so the punchiness of this cast is no surprise. The best way to showcase such a cast is to ensure that the facial animations can capture as much intense emotion as possible.
