One piece officially entered the final saga after the conclusion of the Wano Country arc, and the gateway to that saga, Egghead Island, has now wrapped as well. With the conclusion of the Egghead Island arc, fans know that there are quite a few exciting events that the series will tackle moving forward, and quite easily one thing that fans are eagerly anticipating is the upcoming massive war, the trigger of which might already have been pressed.

This upcoming war will be the biggest the series has seen yet, and may even turn into the Great War. One Piece's the most emphatic war since 800 years.

So far, the big wars have been incredible in one piece

• The Onigashima War saw Luffy become a Yonk

Quite easily, the biggest war in One Piece that fans have seen so far is the Paramount War. This Paramount War happened right before the timeskip and after the battle between Ace and Blackbeard. Ace, who went to bring Blackbeard to trial for Thatch's murder, ended up defeated and handed over to the Navy. Knowing the secret of his bloodline, the Navy ordered a public execution for him, which led to Whitebeard, captain of the Whitebeard Pirates and the strongest man in the world, attacking Marine HQ with his 43 allied ships. Paramount War was absolutely stunning and took One Piece to a new level. In fact, it was right after this war that One Piece skyrocketed in popularity and manga sales skyrocketed as well. Obviously, the Paramount War was the biggest in One Piece and also made Marineford an arc that cemented his status as one of the best in anime and manga history in general.

Of course, another war that fans have seen recently in One Piece was the Onigashima War. In terms of character writing, excitement, and almost every other aspect of the narrative, Wano War was pretty close to Paramount War. In fact, taking the entire arc into the picture, Wano surpassed even Marineford for many people, but the water itself might not be classified as big as Paramount's war.

The Paramount War ended with the deaths of Whitebeard and Ace, and at the same time Blackbeard began his ascension to become Emperor. Meanwhile, the Wano War ended with the defeat of Kaido and Big Mom, and the emergence of two new emperors in Luffy and Buggy. Obviously, these wars were astounding in what they had to offer, but neither was the greatest war One piece.

Just in terms of scale, the war that was fought between the Ancient Kingdom and the Founding 20 was much bigger. Unfortunately, fans have yet to see this war, but at some point in the future, Oda will surely wage it. Now, One piece is in the final saga, which means that Oda will definitely continue to illustrate an incredible arc that he himself claimed would surpass even Marineford. The upcoming biggest one piece war is going to be massive

The coming war in One piece it will start sooner than fans would imagine. As fans know, the coming war will be against the world government and the rulers of the world. This war will likely result in a Great War as well, something that even Whitebeard predicted at the time of the Summit War. The basis for the coming war was already established in the story. As fans know, the revolutionary army recently attacked the Holy Land of Marijoa and burned the symbol of the heavenly dragons there, burned their granaries, freed the slaves, and most importantly besieged the Holy Land. This is what the world government is now being forced to deal with, and they certainly will.

As Dragon himself made clear, the World Government will send down the Holy Knights, who until recently were led by none other than Saint Garling Figarland. The revolutionary army is preparing for all-out war, and this war will be massive in scale.

Now, fans might think that this war will be limited to a battle between the Revolutionary Army and the Holy Knights. However, when the Holy Knights mobilize, so do the Marines, the military face of the government. This war will certainly not be a small one, even if it starts, and will only fuel an even bigger event that will likely result in a Great War of One Piece. This is exactly what will make the Final Saga of One Piece special, as Oda himself has claimed that he has incredible plans for it.

Oda prepares for a war bigger than Marineford

The coming great war is on the horizon

As fans know, Oda has stated a long time ago that Marineford will not even be the biggest war in One Piece and that he is planning something much bigger for the Final Saga. The Final Saga is now with the fans and the war against their revolutionary army is about to begin.
