This article contains spoilers from One Piece's Elbaf arc.
Nero's Saint Imu is one of the most powerful characters in all One pieceand Oda recently gave fans a good look at their abilities. When the Imu arrived in Elbaf, it was abundantly clear that their power knew no bounds. But that was just a small glimpse of what they were really capable of. One Piece's The Loki flashback shed more light on Imu's powers than ever before, and in case it wasn't clear, they're simply invincible, or so it seems on the surface. Imu is incredibly overpowered and there's no denying that. But, Oda had already revealed Ima's two biggest weaknesses.
In fact, Oda even lays out an exact plan to follow in order to take Ima down, and it's all right in front of the readers' eyes. In time, someone will exploit Imu's two biggest weaknesses and eventually take them down. These two weaknesses were specifically mentioned in Loki's flashback by Rocks D. Xebec, the man who came from Davy Jones. According to Rocks D. Xebca, one needs two specific devil fruits destroy the world government, which means two specific fruits are needed to defeat the Imu and crush their order.

Yami Yami no Mi is needed to fight Imu

Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika can counter Ima
Rocks' plan was to be executed right from the start the promise of his ancestor Davy D. Jones. Being a member of the Davy Clan himself, Rocks was adamant about keeping the promise Jones made to Im.
I specifically want two Devil Fruits and I want Harald to eat one of them. — Rocks his Pirate Crew
What that promise was is still unknown, but what fans do know is that Davy Jones wanted to knock Ima off the top of the world, and so did Rocks. When asked about his goal, he made it clear that he wanted “The World”. In other words, the Rocks wanted to crush the Imu World Government as promised by Davy D. Jones.
When Rocks first met Imu in Marijoa, he didn't fight him and the reason is simple. Rocks himself knew there was nothing he could do against Imo, so he left with the warning that he would return when he was ready. Later, Rocks said that he needed two Devil Fruits to fulfill his plan to crush the government. in other words Rocks wanted two Devil Fruits to defeat Ima. Rocks wanted Harald to eat one of these fruits and probably wanted to eat the other himself.
In a way, Harald tried to be Nika himself. — Jarul, Elbaf
Connecting all the dots makes it very easy to deduce Imu has two biggest weaknesses they are two specific Devil Fruits that Rocks wanted to beat him The first of these two is most certainly the Nika fruit. This is also likely the fruit that Rocks wanted Harald to eat, given that the legend of the sun god Nika is associated with Elbaf, and given that Jarul confirmed that Harald tried to be Nika in his own way. WITH the power of Nika fruitone could counter Imu's Domi Reversi and all the powers that spring from the power of evil, and this is because the fruit is opposed to the Ima itself.
The second ability would be Yami Yami no Mi, the strongest Logia. This fruit is special it absorbs the power of the devil himself. In other words, not even Imu can fight with his powers.
Haki Level Joy Needs A Boy
Imu can only be countered with the strongest Haki
There is also powerful Haki that is needed to fight Imubut it must be of the highest order. Rocks used his Haki in the battle against Imu, but it didn't work because it wasn't strong enough. But in Egghead, Joy Boy's Haki clearly worked against the Eldersall of whom derive their powers from Imu. Another thing one would need to defeat Ima is Haki of the highest order.
