One Piece Creator Eiichiro Oda officially introduces the new Legendary Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit

Devil Fruits serve as the primary energy system in the world One pieceand Eiichiro Oda, the author of the series, keeps expanding them by introducing one new ability after another. One piece Officially dropped on May 10, 2026 in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 24, Chapter 1182 officially confirmed the new Devil Fruit legendary ability to fans.

As has been a theme in the Final Saga thus far, this new Devil Fruit ability also belongs to the Mythical Zoan class, which was officially listed as the rarest class of all in Chapter 554 of the series. One piece Chapter 1182 covered various events in Elbaf and began with a battle between Saint Nero Imu, the King of the World who descended to earth in Chapter 1179, and Prince Loki. Ragnir is an ally of not only Loki, but also the old God of War, who was officially introduced in One Piece Chapter 1175 on March 2, 2026.

According to Jarul, the history of Elbaf mentions the existence of a certain god of war. This God of War had the ability to transform into the giant dragon Nidhoggra and had an Ice Squirrel known as Ratatoskr at his side. The two fought together against the Sun God of the World. When the God of War of Elbaf died, Ratatoskr possessed his beloved hammer and became known as Ragnir. How Ragnir ate Risa Risa no Mi Model: Ratatoskr in the past

This also means that Ragnir's overall defense is further boosted by the very nature of this Devil Fruit ability. This devil fruit also provides the instant power to flash freezing targets as seen on Loki instantly freezing Gunko in chapter 1178 of the story.
