A new report has revealed that the live-action adaptation Persona is in development on Netflix. Franchise creator ATLUS recently confirmed its next entry into the main line Persona games and also preparing to launch Persona 4 Revival.

Persona is getting a live-action TV show on Netflix
According to Variety , Netflix is working on a live-action TV adaptation Persona series. According to the report, Christopher Monfette has been tapped as writer, executive producer and showrunner for the project. Shawn Levy and Robert Artwood from 21 Laps, the studio behind the hit Netflix show Stranger Thingswill also oversee production. Story Kitchen's Dmitri M. Johnson, Michael Lawrence Goldberg and Timothy I. Stevenson also executive produce. Finally, SEGA's own Toru Nakahara produced Sonic the Hedgehog feature films, there will also be executive production. It remains unknown if a potential television adaptation would be based on a specific main series Persona title or if it would be a whole new story.
