On Popopia subreddit, content creator TheBarkenos shared a before and after image of their Bleak Beach project. They started by tearing down two ruined houses on the Bleak Beach promenade, which is located on the other side of town. The Barkenos then redid the main boardwalk floor by replacing the sand and missing tiles with pieces of grass and some bricks. The hotel they created is a two-story biotope that can house several Pokémon, and decorations like beach chairs, bikes, and trees were placed all over the hotel's main lawn. More fence posts surrounded Popopia hotel lot accessible via Surf or Magnet Rise.

TheBarkenos said they used their experience from Animal Crossing: New Horizons for theirs Popopia hotel construction. As of this writing Pokemon Pokopia it has a limit of 10 blocks per side, making it difficult to use a large mansion as a Pokemon habitat. However, Popopia players can work around this unfortunate limitation by dividing the floors and rooms of the large house into smaller sites with enclosures no larger than 10 blocks per side. It remains to be seen whether Pokemon Pokopia the development team will address this issue or will it remain as it is.
