Lee then became VP of Production for Activision in 2019, but left that role to join Ubisoft in 2022 Rainbow Six franchise as vice president and executive producer. However, a new report now suggests that Lee could be preparing to announce a new role after nearly three years at Ubisoft.
A new report from Insider Gaming, which claims to have seen an internal email from Ubisoft, states that Cameron Lee has left Ubisoft Montreal after being there for just under three years. The report offers no reason for Lee's sudden departure, but claims that Ubisoft is in no rush to replace the former vice president, as an email sent to employees said the role would not be replaced “for now.” After working on titles such as Call of DutyLee seemed ideal for retention Rainbow Six series as one of the best tactical shooter series, so the shocking departure of the manager could be a huge blow for Ubisoft.
