Resident Evil 4 Remake is getting co-op multiplayer

Fans Resident Evil 4 remake that wished it could be played with friends is in luck as a new mod has added this ability to the game. The mod allows players to take control of a Resident Evil 4 customize your character and play the campaign alongside Leon.

The Resident Evil the series has had more than a few instances of multiplayer options over the years, albeit with varying levels of involvement. Modder claybtv has released a new mod called Resident Evil 4 Multiplayer and it is now available for download. Enemies, events, switches, and so on are synchronized, so it should be possible to play the entire campaign in two players.

However, players should be aware that the mod is currently in beta, so there are some technical issues, especially with lag and stuttering enemy movement. Players will also need to coordinate with each other to set up the mod, as both players must be in the same place in the game before syncing. Some areas are particularly problematic, such as the battle against Del Lago. Additionally, accessing the inventory will pause the game for the other player, so that's also something to consider.
