Resident Evil fans have a brand new official release to look forward to on Thursday, July 30. The Resident Evil the franchise has been on a ridiculous hot streak for nearly a decade. While Capcom was definitely wrong Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil 7 things got back on track and it's been nothing but a banger as far as major leagues go ever since.

Capcom has confirmed that the previously announced Grace and Leon amiibo figures will be available on Thursday, July 30, with pre-orders now live. Scanning amiibo figures will grant players special weapon skins to use in-game, such as a neon skin for Grace's S&S M232 and a unique skin for the titular Requiem magnum. As for the more substantial content, we know that a Resident Evil Requiem story expansion is on the way. But what we don't know is what form it will take or when it will be available.
