New Honkai: Star Rail the leak hints at a useful item to be introduced to the game during the 3.0 update, featuring a “treasure compass”. The massively popular sci-fi RPG features plenty of hidden treasures for players to find in three fully playable worlds and on the Herta space station, among enemies and rewards. Each world contains an abundance of treasure chests Honkai: Star Rail players find, while various items can also trigger special events and achievements. Honkai: Star Rail adds Treasure Compass with version 3.0
A leak from prominent HoYovere provider HomDGCat has teased the addition of “Treasure Compass” to Honkai: Star Rail. According to the post, the Treasure Compass will be able to be used an unlimited number of times and will mark the location of unclaimed treasure hidden somewhere in the world. The method of obtaining the treasure compasses will reportedly be different for each world and will be available for use in the in-game stores on Herta Space Station, Belobog and Xianzhou Luofu. Penacons and Amphoreus will include a compass as progress-based rewards for the Clockie Statue and Tidal Bounty, respectively.
Addition Honkai: Star Rail's Treasure Compass will try to follow in the footsteps of the previous HoYoverse RPG. Genshin Impact similarly, it features Treasure Compass widgets for each of the game's playable areas, helping to guide players to chests in the open-world game. Honkai: Star Rail previously allowed players to track nearby chests using the five-star Fire character Topaz, with leaks that new character The Herta will also be able to track treasure. Treasure Compass is expected to be released with version 3.0 on January 14th.
