This is because the game is canon Star Wars Jedi story and the larger timeline of the franchise. So it will be fascinating to see how Star Wars: Zero Company joins the Star Wars Jedi.
Star Wars Eclipse is one of the most ambitious Star Wars games currently being prepared. This project is being developed by Quantic Dream, a studio that produced games like Detroit: Become Human and Heavy rain. Such a big name IP is a huge change of pace for developers. It takes place during the time of the High Republic, Star Wars EclipseThe story is expected to be an interwoven story full of possibilities. This is Quantic Dream's bread and butter, but reports claim it will be more action-packed than the studio's previous work. It is unclear when this project will be ready to launch. Speculations have pointed to a potential release date of 2027 or 2028. If it's 2027, then this year could have some Star Wars Eclipse news in store. If so, it would mark the first major update since the Game Awards 2021 announcement trailer.
Last but not least is Amy Hennig's secret Star Wars game with Skydance New Media. Hennig is best known for creating Uncharted series and this style of play would be tons of fun Star Wars settings. Hennig once worked on another Star Wars game for EA, but was eventually canceled. Although a Star Wars Jedi 3 announcement or new KOTOR remake updates are not included Star Wars' Plans for 2026, there are still plenty of games that could come out and surprise players.
