When we talk about the scariest horror games of all time, PT and Ride out often end up at the top of the list. Hideo Kojima's first, beloved teaser for a Silent Hill the game that never was can constantly haunt you with only one enemy and one corridor. It stands out by arming players with nothing more than a camera as they explore an asylum filled with disturbing killers, while its innovative visual style is instantly recognisable. It looks like a developer Steam'with Blackwall [LIVE] trying to follow Ride out's steps, including his own special camera work in a full environment PT– like corridors.
One look at this Steam game will be enough to notice how different it is from these two iconic inspirations, as the protagonist wields a handful of weapons to battle the creatures he encounters on his mission. Fortunately, that doesn't seem to make the game any less terrifying. For starters, the rifles and pistols that players are armed with have very limited ammo, so players have to pick and choose their battles. Plus, not all the scary creatures Blackwall [LIVE] can be fought, so players will have to do their share of sneaking and running just like in other horror games.

Whether this spider can actually be injured is unclear; VylonX Games states that not every creature can be damaged by the protagonist's arsenal of weapons, so as in Resident Evil series, players will have to figure out which enemies are worth wasting ammo on. And like other horror games, not only will the environmental narrative help explain what's going on, but the footage and documentaries will give fans of the story something extra to piece together. Except for fighting and fleeing creatures, Blackwall [LIVE] he will have his share of solving puzzles that will break down the titular walls and open up new areas to explore.
His Blackwall [LIVE]the camera perspective that really ties everything together. Much like Ride outA green night vision camera added to her sense of immersion, Blackwall [LIVE] the use of helmet cams for the entire experience makes it a unique entry into the horror genre. Not only is everything the protagonist sees seemingly live, opening up interesting storytelling opportunities, but also a distinct camera angle (which looks like the viewer's camera from an FPS Marathon) limits peripheral vision and likely makes aiming difficult until players adjust. Since the entire game is built around a bodycam, every encounter should be challenging without being clunky Blackwall [LIVE] to shine brightly due to its special property. As you walk through the corridor space, memories might come back PTand the constant presence of camera elements on the HUD could have Ride out fans feel right at home, the use of weapons and enemy designs should be enough to make this Steam title feel like its own game.
