What are Chao and trails
Chao are cute little creatures and have a number of different features and colors that set them apart. In Sonic Speed Simulator, serve as pets you can have floating around your character as you move through areas, and they give you bonuses in certain stats.
Trails work similarly to they also give you stat bonusesand the trail is just that – a trail that trails behind you as you hurtle at the speed of sound.
At once you can equip up to three Chao (up to five if you purchase gamepass +2 Pet Slots), a one trail.
Chao and trails can be they settled with rings and rings with a red star, to level 25 – every fifth level will require a certain number of Red Star Rings depending on Chao or Trail level.
What are statistics
Chao and Trails can raise up to three different stats:
- XP – reinforcement how much XP for a Chaos Orb you are getting
- Rings – exchange value of the ring when it is picked up from the ground.
- Damage – Strengthening your damage against bosses and enemies.
While some will only increase one or two of these stats, most mid to late game Chao and Trails strengthen all three to some extent.
Additionally, Chao and Trails can have both special bonus stats:
- Magnet – allows you to pick up objects from the ground from a greater distance.
- Stamina – Allows you to do this strengthen longer.
- Happiness – increasing your a chance to become legendary Chao and trails from vending machines.
- Event – Boost the amount of progress you get in events.
- Air – increases how much time you can spend under water for non-robotic characters.
What are fast friends
Fast friends are an alternative to Chao that takes best stats of all your Chao and rolls them into one pet.
For example, if you had a Chao with +20 rings and +10 XP and another Chao with +10 rings and +20 XP, fast friend take only the best stats from each Chaowhich gives him +20 rings and +20 XP.
This works across your entire Chao inventoryso very quickly the pursuit of the best Cha in every stat becomes important.
The way Fast Friends works, you'll want the best every base statas bonus stats do not count towards Fast Friends stats.

Overall the best Chao And Trails
Since Chao and Trails generally only excel in one stat, it's hard to choose which one to always have equipped.
XP and damage are not as useful as rings – but more important than these basic stats are probably bonus stats that some Chao and Trails can offer.
For this reason, we have compiled a list of notable Chao and Trails that we have selected as important to have on hand for various situations.
Here are our tips for best routes overall:
- The best trail for free to play players is Chili dog trail – has a very good distribution of stats and is overall best.
- The Gunpowder Trail may not have very impressive stats, but it is +10 Magnet Bonus Stat it makes collecting rings and orbs of chaos so easy that we recommend it over the Chili Dog Trail unless you have another magnet source.
- However, if you have a Magnet, try to find it Silver Blur Trail – not only does he have the highest Ring stat, but gives you +10 stamina which allows you to increase for a while longer.
When it comes to Chao, it's a bit trickier because the Chao themselves aren't ones you should always have equipped. Fast friends are much more importantas they can be further upgraded to increase max stats beyond what is otherwise possible.
Here are our tips for best fast friends overall:
- The most important stat in the game is the event bonus statas it will allow you to complete most events much faster. The events are known to require a fair amount of grit, so for this one we recommend cheese and chocolate – both can be obtained for free after completing permanent events in Green Hill called Cream's Friends and Chao School. You can only get one of each and they are not tradable.
- Robot Summer Sonic toy is one of the rarest and most valuable fast friends because his Event statisticsand unlike cheese and chocolate, you can find and equip more. If you are ever able to trade or buy one for Robux, we recommend it.
- Magnet and durability they're both useful stats when you're not doing events, so try to fill your pet slots Fast friends who have these bonus statssuch as Toy Robot Tails, Rouge, Silver and Knuckles. There are many fast friends with any of these stats and it depends on what you're missing from the rest of your build. We recommend focusing on Magnet more, but endurance is also important.
- Luck isn't useful for general gameplay, but it is extremely useful when trying to get a specific Chao or Trail from vending machines. We recommend this Crimson Wisps with +20 luck when fused and at level 25. These can be found in the Cyber Station zone in one of the vending machines. Ideally, you should have enough of them fill all slots for your pets while rolling the vending machines to give you the best chance of getting the Chao and/or the trail you're aiming for.
