Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F is one of the worst DBZ movies and probably one of the worst sagas in the Dragon Ball Super anime. Besides introducing the now-iconic Super Saiyan Blue, the Golden Frieza arc did one other thing right: it gave Goku and Vegeta some much-needed redesigns. One of the worst things about modern Dragon Ball it's how much the series lives in the past, down to Goku and Vegeta basically wearing Cell Saga outfits.
Goku and Vegeta's Whis designs are the best version of their modern Dragon Ball designs, following on from their previous outfits while perfectly paired with the Super Saiyan Blue color palette. Best of all, Goku's dogi in particular feels like a natural bridge between his Buu Saga gi and the dog he carries at the end Dragon Ball Z. Fortunately, Dragon Ball Super: Beerus officially brings back the best versions of Goku and Vegeta as the anime will officially be remade Resurrection F this fall.

Dragon Ball Super: 8 Strongest Characters That Would Destroy Goku In A Fair Fight
In a fair fight, there are several Dragon Ball Super characters that would absolutely destroy Goku – even now that he has mastered Ultra Instinct.
Dragon Ball Super: Beerus finally brings back the best designs of Goku & Vegeta
The Dragon Ball Super: Beerus anime adaptation Battle of the Gods is short enough for the series to officially settle Resurrection F in the fall of 2026. In the movie, Goku and Vegeta get new clothes, specifically while training with Whis. These new designs signify Goku and Vegeta's growth as martial artists while also being designed to help make Super Saiyan Blue pop visually. Goku loses his blue singlet in favor of an all-orange get up, while Vegeta's now black armor turns blue thanks to SSB's divine aura.
Goku and Vegeta keep these outfits for the first original arc Dragon Ball Supersaga Universe 6. Unfortunately, Goku and Vegeta leave their new clothes at the beginning of the Goku Black Saga and have to put them back on. WITH Dragon Ball Super: Beerus set to remake the entire series at least for the Tournament of Power, this is a major opportunity for the anime to adopt a new one and keep Goku & Vegeta in their Whis uniforms until the beginning Dragon Ball Super 2.

Goku & Vegeta Whis outfit is the best ever seen in Dragon Ball
Goku and Vegeta really never looked better than when they were wearing their early ones Dragon Ball Super clothing. Akira Toriyama has never shied away from changing the status quo or depicting the passage of time in Dragon Ball manga. Goku and Vegeta have always changed outfits to match their character development. Goku gradually loses the kanji of his gi as he grows beyond the master's needs, while Vegeta sheds pieces of his Saiyan armor to reflect his refinement on Earth.

Dragon Ball: Every saga where Vegeta was stronger than Goku
There are several Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super Sagas where Vegeta is objectively stronger than Goku.
Goku's new dog has Whis's signature, but not by his choice. It's a looser, looser outfit that plays on Goku's sensibilities. He no longer needs the armor Kami gave him, nor is he a perpetual student of the Turtle School: he is his own man with his own dog. Similarly, Vegeta's armor, which was completely designed by Bulma, is a great way to get him back into battle gear while also honoring his newfound home on Earth (and his love for his wife). Going back to his old designs so quickly was always a shame, failing Toriyama's best redesign. Even though it's only two arcs, it will be fantastic to see the best versions of Goku and Vegeta finally take center stage again.
