Since Mega Evolution is a special mechanic launched with Pokemon Champions, several players who climb the ladder will focus on bringing their best Mega Evolution options to the game. Deciding which Mega Evolutions to bring and which Pokemon to equip your stones to can be a difficult task because there are so many good options available.
With over 70 Mega Evolution Pokemon available in Pokemon Champions, along with a few minor changes to mechanics and item availability, finding the right Mega to fit your particular team is actually easier than you might think thanks to the variety available. Here are some of the best Mega Evolution options in Champions.
Mega Charizard Y
Mega Charizard Y specifically is such a great Mega Evolution for most teams. It's a powerful Pokemon that fits so well on so many teams and works well with some of the strongest Pokemon options you'll see in Champions.
A double battle with Charizard and Garchomp or Incineroar will put your opponent in immediate danger. Combining Heat Wave and Solar Beam with Incineroar next to Mega Charizard Y is an easy setup for victory. Watch out for Rock Slide, most teams run though.

Mega Hawlucha
A quick fix to most problems on the enemy team, Mega Hawlucha has the speed and power to get a decent one-hit KO on several enemy Pokémon. A strong physical attacker, you have options to boost your stats and deal good damage while surviving a few decent hits.
It has great utility, and transferring Entrainment to a Pokemon with an OHKO move means instantly destroying the enemy with an attack that never misses.
Mega Gengar
This Pokémon is a great setup option for so many double teams and is so useful that it's hard to compare it to any other Mega Evolution. With tons of setup options and tons of ways to lock down your opponent and allow another partner Pokemon to run away with the game.
He's a little less defensive than you'd probably like, with lower health. Still, its utility and ability to lock down your opponent makes Mega Gengar worth the investment. Shadow Tag means your opponents can't switch and sets them up for devastating moves from you. Its high Attack stat also makes it great for dealing damage.
Mega Dragonite
Mega dragonite is great because out of most of your Mega evolutions it will be the Pokemon that can survive the most out of every Pokemon in your party as a great bulk option. He can also deal a significant amount of damage straight out of training, making him strong and survivable.
Mega Dragonite is your best bet if you're not sure what to give your team, as it offers a wide variety of moves to try out. While not a game changer, their survivability and power make them a great choice.
Mega Gardevoir
Any team can benefit from having a Fairy-type on their team with all the Dragon-type pokemon you can find in ranked, and Mega Gardevoir with its Psychic/Fairy-typing is a good addition. Not only is it easily available, as there are plenty of ways to get Mega Gardevoir and its Mega Stone for free.
Give her Hyper Voice and Dazzling Gleam and follow up with something that boosts your team. You're ready for whatever else you need next, from a trick room setup to a glass cannon, you can use Mega Gardevoir in a number of ways.
Mega Lopunny
A very safe Mega choice, Mega Lopunny is a strong attacker that has decent coverage for anything your other Pokemon might lack. With several physical moves that are tied to type, you can hit enemies' weaknesses very hard.
While not the strongest, she still has Scrappy as an ability that allows her to perform normal and fighting moves and hit Ghost-type pokemon that are immune to it, opening up your options against those Ghost-type staples that will usually get past Normal-type moves.
Mega Delphox
Winner of the first Pokémon Champions Online Tournament, Mega Delphox shows his true potential in Pokémon Champions. Another offensive powerhouse with good speed, Mega Delphox has a great set of options.
Resisting Fairy type moves, overcoming some threats and dealing damage with good attack coverage, it's a great Mega. With his Levitate ability, you can also add him to your team with an Earthquake user, a move you must encounter as you level up.
Mega Froslas
Strong, fast and deadly, Mega Froslas has everything you could be looking for in a partner Pokemon for double battles. With defensive abilities like Aurora Veil and a great way to set up snowy weather that boosts his own defense, Mega Froslas has an arsenal of great moves that work so well in dual battles. Blizzard with Mega Froslas' ATK and speed stats can be deadly.
Mega Flotte
One of the most powerful Mega Evolution Pokemon you can have on your team, Mega Floette has some new tricks up its sleeve. With the Fairy Aura ability, it boosts Fairy-type moves by 33 percent, making it ideal for dual battles with Fairy-type setups.
If the other Pokemon has Pixilate, you can use the conversion of normal-type moves to fairy-type moves and get a 20 percent power boost from it as well. Throw in a Light of Ruin attack with 140 base power and Mega Floette's high SPA stat and you have a damage dealer that boosts all other fairy types at the same time.
