Black Ops 6 players will unlock the new 9mm Sirin weapon
Fans initially doubted that 50 billion eliminations could be reached before December 5th, but Black Ops 6 players have successfully unlocked the Sirin 9mm special weapon. Sirin's 9mm could easily be mistaken for an SMG at first glance, but it's actually a special weapon that can be attached to the player's secondary loadout slot. Unfortunately, initial community response to the gun has been pretty lackluster, so don't expect the Sirin 9mm to become the new meta in Black Ops 6 or Warzone anytime soon unless Treyarch or Raven decide to upgrade the weapon in a future update.
After completing the Hit List event, all players can try out the Sirin 9mm, but this isn't the first time the weapon has been made available. Shortly after the event began, Activision caused further controversy after including the Sirin 9mm as part of a paid package in Black Ops 6 and Warzone. This meant that while players were still locked in as the final reward in the Hit List event, they could pay to unlock the weapon design and use the weapon early, which many believed would defeat the purpose of the event.
While the latest Call of Duty the event is officially over, another one is just around the corner. As a component Black Ops 6 and WarzoneReleased on December 5th, the Season 1 Reloaded update will launch the new Merry Mayhem event in Zombies, multiplayer and Warzone. The event will run until December 19th and will once again allow players to unlock a new perk, weapon and more.
