For Pokemon fans, this week was a relatively important week with the release of the expansion set Mega Evolution and a new Gamesop distribution event. This one, including it is able to claim glossy koraidon or Miraidon through a one -time redemption card.
As anyone could guess that it was heading for Friday's edition, things went somewhat bad, with scalpels chased every last volume of mega development, and those free shiny cards were quickly listed at eBay at exaggerated prices.
Wait, huh? Yes, you read it right. The Pokemon distribution is now scalp and some lists come within minutes of the shop opening.
Something has to be done to stop scalp in their footsteps
As the creator of Philbeatz's content on Twitter first saw the free promo in the store, the eBay market quickly flooded.
In fact, the cursory search for “shiny koraidon” on eBay actually causes several dozen results, all of which are remarkably expensive. In one list, it offers offering one promo code $ 47, while another seller, who reportedly has four promo at hand, sells its $ 90.
Finally, in probably the worst representation of Friday's event, the dual package of promo cards, one for each shiny, exceeded $ 130 in offers with 16 hours to go.
As the user noted, something needs to be done to fight it. It was supposed to be free, but of course it led to people to claim much more than their fair share, all in an effort to profit.
Some proposed a return to mysterious gifts, while one user proposed to return to the past when such events required players to actually bring their console to get anything promo. Either way, a medicine is necessary, because the alternative is definitely not a positive development.
