Ghost Tsushima and Ghost Yotei are concentrated around the idea of fear. The legend of spirit grows all over the country, because cities and villages hope that it will hit it for its own salvation. The enemies know it, try to refuse it, but in the end the fear will hit them.
For me, Ghost of Tsushima had a more interesting assumption on paper. Descent samurai, versus the spirit of Yotei's search for revenge. We saw these kinds of stories over and over again, and even our own Assassin's Creed from 2025: Shadows focused on hunting a group that your family badly.
Against all chances, however, Yotei's protagonist, ATSU, quickly became much more scary than Tsushim's Jin Sakai.
Jin Sakai had everything he lost …
In Ghoch of Tsushima was Jin Samuraj, who tried to protect his home from the Mongol invasion. The beginning of the game sees most of his clan wiped out, while his uncle, Lord Shimura, is captured. After this initial battle, most Tsushima was taken.
Jin's disagreement, the people they encounter, are beginning to convince him of ways to take off Mongol camps. Quiet, brutal and finally dishonest. The game shows us the way of this man who is forced to become a spirit to save his home and his clan, and although we have determined how we deal with certain situations in the game, this is an overall assumption.
Later in the game you can brutalize enemies and get the others around you to climb in fear. It becomes a defeat, and so the well -known legend of the spirit of Tsushima becomes a well -known legend. The enthusiasm and fortresses of Mongolian occupiers are afraid of this power of one person, while the locals of Tsushima will cheer him up and wait for their home to be taken back.
… But atsu will not be left to lose
In the spirit of Yotei, however, is an effort to become a much more personal spirit. It is not because of an extensive invasion, but instead ATSU becomes a vindictive spirit, known as Onryo, after Yotei Six erased her family and destroyed her home. They do not try to save the land from their possession, but they want to see them dead, because it is likely to mean its own demise.
The game begins with her hunt Snake, one of the Yotei Six before we relaxed to start the way when we watch the remaining five. Until now, people are talking about onryo, because reward hunters are trying to watch you, cities and villages are afraid and often unwelcome and Lord Saito – leader Yotei Six – has soldiers who know exactly who you are from the moment they see you.
Although both games focus on one person to become a legend that acted as a spirit in their homeland against unwelcome forces, something is much more terrifying about ATSU. He doesn't do it for his home and does not do it for people who live there. It will help them how the game continues, and maybe they can learn something or two, but it does it for themselves and revenge your family.
Jin has always been driven by he wanted to do right at his home, because over time he became more vengeful and angry, while ATSU begins, because this still spirit that stops at nothing to see Lord Sait, Yotei six, and anyone else followed him, dead and lay in her furrow.
We see it, as a child, attached to the burning tree with the blade, after the defeat of her family. Yet he fights. We see it at the beginning of this journey, walked through the blade through her body as she killed the snake before she would seem to wake up from the dead and leave and leave the villagers in disbelief. Yet he fights.
The spirit of Tsushima became a terrible legend when he descended into disgrace, but ATSU is a terrible force that no one dares to stand in the way. It is known less as vigilant and rather as a real spirit. Unstoppable onryo, which continues to occupy those who have done it badly against all chances. This level of terror is immediately apparent in the spirit of Yotei.
