When people think of Transformers, they often think of robots that transform into cars and the size implications that come with that. However, in many different forms of media, from movies to toys and comics to games, there have been some Transformers that make city blocks look small.

The Best Transformers Series, Ranked
The Transformers series has had a lot of TV series over the years. How will they stack up against each other?
In this ranking, we look at the 10 biggest Transformers. It is important to note that since there are countless variations of these characters, each iteration can vary in size. For example, in Generation 1, the Omega Supreme is only 18 meters, while in some iterations it can reach up to 800 meters.
10 Majin Zarak
200 meters
Majin Zarak is a monstrous Transformer and a member of the Predacons. Like the Decepticons, the Predacons are pure evil and want to rule the universe with an iron fist. Majin Zarak comes in at about 200 meters, so he outshines most Transformers.
Majin Zarak has two main transformations, his normal “beast” appearance, which he uses when destroying both Maximals and Autobots, and his alternate aircraft carrier mode, which he can use to transport other Predacons and launch massive attacks from the water.
9 Trypticon
270 meters
Trypticon is a Transformer colossus, fueled by hatred for the Autobots. Although never specifically stated, his design appears to be inspired by Godzilla. Trypticon comes in at 270 meters tall, though its size is highly inconsistent and often changes due to art style or animation limitations, as in the Generation 1 cartoon.

The Decepticons are a force of evil in the Transformers universe. Among them, these characters are the most threatening and powerful.
Over the years, Trypticon has had many alternate modes, even once being a fully functional space station. Most often, Trypticon's alt mode is a variation of the Nemesis and Megatron class battleship, and other Decepticons often use it to travel long distances.
8 Wide side
365 meters
Broadside is a rare triple changer, meaning it has three ways to transform. When not in any of his alternate modes, Broadside could be described as having a similar build to Optimus Prime, only much larger. Wide diameters around 365 meters
His first alt mode is his most famous, where he transforms into a full-sized Nimitz-class aircraft carrier. Ironically, however, he gets seasick. His second alt mode is a fighter often in the style of the F/A18 super hornet and as well as getting seasick he is also afraid of heights. In some iterations, the Broadside was transformed into a battleship.
7 Devastator
400 meters
Devastator is a massive Decepticon Constructicon, consisting of six main members; Scraper (front loader), Bonecrusher (bulldozer), Scavenger (excavator), Mixmaster (cement mixer), Hook (crane), Long Haul (dump truck). These members combine to form the powerful Constructicon Devastator. Like the others on this list, the size of the Devastator can vary, but it is known to be as large as 400 meters.
The Devastator became famous for its appearance Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. He is the only Transformer on this list besides Unicron to appear in a live-action setting.
6 Lodestar
500 meters
The Lodestar is a Titan Transformer that worked as a transporter for the Cybertron government before the war. She often transported important Autobots such as Sentinel Prime around Cybertron and on off-world missions. The Lodestar is one of the most luxurious Titan Transformers, rising from a height of 500 meters.
During the war, the Lodestar was equipped with a combat-ready configuration that included extra armor and several long-range weapons. She often took on more transport roles than combat missions, but she was never afraid to lend a hand when needed.
5 Metroplex
800 meters
Metroplex is perhaps the most famous Titan Transformer and one of the most powerful Autobots. Metroplex has an average size of 800 meters and is an absolutely massive Transformer who often towers over his fellow Autobots. Metroplex's main alternate mode is a small town that his fellow Autobots can use for refuge and rest between battles.

Transformers: The Best Autobots, Rated
The Transformers series focuses on the battle between the good Autobots and the evil Decepticons. Among the Autobot faction, these characters stand out.
Metroplex is probably one of the most important Autobots, literally putting his body on the line to protect his comrades. When Metroplex isn't housing his fellow Autobots, he can be seen on the battlefield dealing massive damage to Decepticon forces.
4 Omega Supreme
805 meters
Omega Supreme is one of the largest Autobots, reaching 805 meters. He is the last surviving member of the Guardian Robots, a group of peacekeepers on Cybertron from before the war. In the time of Optimus Prime, Omega Supreme is the last permanent guardian robot.
Omega Supreme often takes the title of 'The Autobots' Last Line of Defense' as he is only called into battle when the situation is dire. He deeply hates Decepticons and especially hates Devastator and Buzzsaw.
3 Fortress Maximus
3000 meters
Fortress Maximus is one of the largest Transformers. Although its size may vary even among its smallest, it is still one of the largest. Over the years, Fortress Maximus has taken on many roles, sometimes as a city for the Autobots or as the headquarters of important Autobots such as Sentinel Prime and Optimus Prime.
Stronghold Maximus deeply hates the Autobot/Decepticon war and states that his primary goal is to escape the war and live in peace. However, he would never abandon his fellow Autobots. When not a stationary alternate mode like a city or HQ, in some iterations it was an orbiting battle/space station.
2 Metrotitan
3200 meters
Metrotitan, formerly an Autobot, is one of the largest Decepticons. After defecting to the Decepticons, he formed the group Metrosquad with the other members; Metroshot, Metrobomb, Metrodash and Metrotank and made several attacks on the Autobots. The Metrotitan comes in at a whopping 3,200 meters, though this can vary between iterations.
In one iteration, Metrotitan did not defect to the Decepticons and instead stayed with the Autobots, taking over the role normally held by the Metroplex and becoming Autobot City on Earth. Metrotitan often clashes with Metroplex, but that's usually when the Metrotitan iteration is a bit smaller.
1 Unicron
Immeasurable
Unicron, The Lord of Chaos, is very similar to Marvel's Galactus. His sole purpose in life is to consume the multiverse, and he often devours planets, moons, and entire star systems to maintain his power level. In various iterations, Unicron was as large as Cybertron and in some even larger, able to hold planets in his hands.
In Michael Bay's films, Unicron is confirmed to be Earth, but fans will never see how that story pans out. Due to Unicron's sheer size in his various iterations, it's hard to determine his average size. However, it is usually as large as Saturn.
