Pokemon Go Fashion Week returns on Friday 10th January at 10am local time and will run until Sunday 19th January 2025 at 8pm local time. During the event, players will receive double Stardust for catching Pokemon, and players level 31 and above have a double chance of receiving Candy XL in Pokemon Go. There is an increased chance of encountering a shiny, costumed Kirlia in the wild, along with a costumed Diglett and Blitzl. Costumed Butterfree, Dragonite, Minccino, and Cinccino will also appear in the wild after completing Fashion Week Field Research tasks with the chance to encounter a shiny variant. Skitty, Buneary, Furfrou and Bruxish will also appear more often in the wild.

  • Pokemon Go Fashion Week will be live from January 10th at 10am to January 19th at 8pm local time.
  • Players can earn double Stardust and Candy XL by participating in Fashion Week.

  • There is an increased chance of encountering the following Pokémon in the wild and during raids:

    • Butterfree in costume

    • A costumed drakit

    • Costumed Minccino

    • Furfrau

    • Cinccino in costume

    • A costumed Diglett

    • Skitty

    • Buneary

    • Blitzle in costume

    • Bruxese

    • Kirlia in costume

    • Shinx in costume

  • Completing the Fashion Week Field Research and Paid Timed Research tasks provides additional encounters and rewards.

There will be one-star and three-star Fashion Week raids, giving players a better chance to meet some of the event's new Pokemon in costumes, including a costumed Shinx. Pokémon GO The Remote Raid Pass can be used to enter a raid remotely. Players looking to earn more XP and Stardust after completing Field Research tasks can purchase the new Fashion Week Paid Timed Research for $5. Timed research rewards include 3,500 XP, 3,500 Stardust, a new event-themed pose, and additional Pokemon encounters from Fashion Week. It's worth noting that Timed Research rewards must be claimed before Fashion Week ends.

In the game Pokemon Go the store will also get new avatar items Plaid Top and Plaid Pants that will be available for purchase even after Fashion Week ends. Like the past Pokemon Go event, players can enter their newly acquired Pokémon into PokeStop Showcases to earn rewards during Fashion Week. Finally, Niantic has confirmed that there will be a Fashion Week themed Challenge collection, and completing the challenge grants more experience and a guaranteed encounter with a costumed Shinx.
