The Pokemon GO Max Out event continues with the introduction of Gigantamax

Earlier this year Pokemon Go kicked things up a notch with the introduction of Dynamax Battles, which took place at Power Spots around the world. Now things are about to get even bigger with the official introduction of Gigantamax Pokemon Pokemon Go.

The official Gigantamax event will kick off with battles against Gigantamax versions of classic starter Pokemon, with the possibility of more Gigantamax Pokemon arriving during the ongoing two-part Halloween 2024 event. Players who defeat these Gigantamax Pokémon in battle will be able to claim these powerful creatures for themselves.

Pokemon GO Gigantamax event details

At a press conference attended by Game Rant, Pokemon Go the development team has officially revealed that Gigantamax Pokémon will enter the game on October 26th. Like Dynamax Pokémon, they will appear at Power Spots where they can only be battled using other Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokémon that the player previously caught.

Gigantamax Raid Battles promise to be Pokemon Go the biggest and most challenging yet. Up to 40 players can participate in the Battle of Gigantamax at once, and a minimum of ten is recommended to take on these powerful enemies. However, the reward will be great: the captured Pokémon will be able to Gigantamax and know G-Max moves, making it a powerful ally for future Dynamax and Gigantamax battles. Additionally, leaving a Gigantamax Pokémon on a Power Spot can potentially cause a Dynamax Pokémon to appear on the spot for players to battle and capture.

Gigantamax Introduction Schedule of events

Three Pokemon were chosen to showcase Gigantamaxing Pokemon Go: classic starters of generation 1. Gigantamax Blastoise, Gigantamax Charizard and Gigantamax Venusaur will be available to fight from October 26 at 10:00 local time to October 27 at 20:00 local time. The Pokemon Go The team confirmed that since the event only lasts for two days, each of the three Pokémon will appear multiple times a day at different Power Spots around the world.

Each of these Gigantamax Pokemon comes with a powerful G-Max Move. First introduced in sword and shield these attacks are unique to each Pokemon. The Pokemon GO Halloween event continues
