- Manfred's plush design didn't sit well with Dragon Age fans, and not just because it costs $41.99.
- The Assan plush design is much more popular despite costing the same. Pre-orders for both are now open.
Halloween is upon us, and for many of you this year that means one thing and one thing – Dragon Age: The Veilguard is just over a week away. Ahead of its highly-anticipated launch, Sanshee has revealed several plushies and badges available for pre-order ahead of The Veilguard's launch. However, some Dragon Age fans were so impressed with Manfred's plush design.
News of two Dragon Age characters being turned into merch ready for The Veilguard release was shared on the series' subreddit, and the excitement that Manfred and Assan were now plushies quickly turned to disappointment for many of you. Many responses to the post noted that Manfred's plush does not accurately reflect the in-game design of the skeletal assistant.

Sanshee's Manfred plush has been described by some as looking “with little effort”. with it costing $41.99 combined with the matching pin, it's unsurprising that seemingly few people will miss it. It has been noted that while Manfred's plush isn't necessarily true to how he looks in the games, he follows the “humanoid template” that Sanshee uses for most of his other biped character plushies.
Manfred and Assan were turned into plushies and pins by Sanshee
One of them is much more popular than the other
Even if the Assan plush and pin set is just as expensive like the unpopular Manfred, Dragon Age fans don't seem to have much of a problem with what Sanshee did to Griffon The Veilguard. Unbound by the limitations of human form, Sanshee's Assan plush is much more unique and closer to what the creature will look like in The Veilguard. Nothing but positive reactions to the Assan plush as far as I can see from people who are willing to pay its high price.
