Reach the abandoned mines

Players wishing to use the Abandoned Mines Access Token should start by going to the Root node in the factory (underground). Fortunately, Nine SolsThe teleportation ability that can be used at the root node of the Four Season Pavilion makes fast travel to the factory (underground) very easy.

After reaching the factory (underground), Nine Sols players should get to upper right corner area. There is an exit in this corner that leads to the Abandoned Mines, and fans trying to get there can proceed as follows:

Start at the root node in the factory (underground).
Climb the rope to the right of the root node and ascend using Air Dashes and scaleable walls as needed.
At the top of the climb, go right and Air Dash to clear some of the red spikes. The Abandoned Mines chip is on the ground just beyond this obstacle.
Continue to the right and use Air Dashes and Tai-Chi Kicks to clear the obstacles.

Go through abandoned mines

Players should now be in Abandoned Mines, and it is in this area that they will find use for the Abandoned Mines access token. More specifically, there is a door that is unlocked with a token, and beyond that door is the Peach Blossom Village. While Metroidvania fans who are thorough in their explorations of abandoned mines will no doubt come across doors that open with an access token to abandoned mines, here's a path that leads directly to them:

Use the Mystic Nymph to hack the device on the ceiling and ride the blue slider to the right.
Climb the rope and head left to reach a device that activates a blue slider when hit.
Use the blue slider to go right and continue right to reach a device that provides temporary lighting when struck.
Cross the pit of spikes, use Mystic Nymph to hack the device on the ceiling and activate the Root Node.
Climb the rope to the right of the root node and hit the device to light up the area.
Quickly climb up to access the blue slider, ride it to the right and continue right to reach a door that opens with an Abandoned Mines Access Token.

After unlocking the door and going through it, players find themselves in an underground cave. This area leads directly to Peach Blossom Village and there are many enemies for 2D game fans to defeat.
