Xbox Game Pass just confirmed 2 more games on 1 July 2026

Xbox Game Pass has two more first releases confirmed for July 2026, including an open-world sandbox game Planet Crafter. The newly announced arrivals mark the sixth and seventh titles now guaranteed to join Xbox Game Pass next month.

The June 2026 Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 lineup has already offered a small preview of what fans can expect next month, planning Winds of Arcana: Ruination on July 6. The same road map also revealed this Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 is finally making its way to the premium tier of the service on July 2, a year after originally debuting in the higher tiers. Following on from that announcement, Microsoft has now confirmed two more titles that will expand its content catalog in July 2026.

Fogpiercer joins Xbox Game Pass on July 17th

According to a trailer shared by the official Xbox YouTube channel on June 18, the upcoming indie title titled Fogpiercer will join Xbox Game Pass on July 17. Produced by Slovak Mad Cookies Studio and published by the strategy genre specialists at Hooded Horse, Fogpiercer is a deck-building roguelite that tasks players with building their own train and then surviving dangerous missions by engaging in grid-based tactical combat.

Planet Crafter lands on Xbox Game Pass 4 days later

An open-world survival crafting game will also join Xbox Game Pass next month Planet Crafterset on a living sci-fi planet that is diverse but deeply inhospitable. True to its name, the game tasks the player with terraforming said planet into an environment suitable for humanity. Developed by French studio Miju Games, the colorful survival title was originally released as a PC exclusive in April 2024. It is now scheduled to debut on consoles on July 21, 2026, the same day it arrives on Xbox Game Pass. Two Planet Crafter DLC packs were released within two years of the game's original launch: Planet Meek in October 2024 and Toxicity in November 2025. As is often the case, neither DLC is expected to be included in the Xbox Game Pass version, though subscribers will be able to purchase both separately.

Although Fogpiercer and Planet Crafter technically launching in the second half of July, they could still be announced as part of the Wave 1 Xbox Game Pass lineup for July 2026. That possibility depends on Microsoft sticking to its usual Tuesday cadence for revealing bi-weekly plans. The first Tuesday of the month falls on July 7th, when the July Wave 1 lineup is likely to be announced, while the third Tuesday is July 21st, the same day. Planet Crafter is planned to be added to the Xbox Game Pass catalog. As a result, both titles may appear in the next post in the Xbox Wire lineup instead of being held back for the second wave of the month.

The July 2026 lineup also includes a sci-fi roguelite from Flyway Games Ascend to zero and Halo: Campaign Evolved remake, scheduled for July 13 and 28, respectively Before any of those arrive, Xbox Game Pass will retire eight titles from its content catalog on June 30.
