After completing the “Land of the Goddesses” quest, after defeating the Temple of Lanayru, the Eldin Temple, and the Faron Temple dungeon, Zelda will be ambushed by Null and taken to the Eternal Forest to stop her version of Echo. The Eternal Forest is one of the many misty forests shrouding the visions The Legend of Zelda series, but luckily it's not too hard to find the right path through the Eternal Forest.

Once you arrive at this location and figure out how to get through the Eternal Forest, Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom players who are on the main quest will receive an additional objective in this area: activate the six locations on the Eternal Forest pedestal to reveal the path to the Ancient Ruin and the path to Echo Zelda. This guide explains how to find the location of the Eternal Forest and where each of the six Eternal Forest pedestals can be found within the mist-shrouded zone of the Eternal Forest (and disabling world mapping).

The Eternal Forest is located north of Hyrule City, nestled between the far northern zones of the Holy Mountain of Lanayru and Eldin Volcano. To get here, head into the foothills that lead up to Mount Hebra northwest of the Hyrule Castle dungeon, and look for a break in the trees almost exactly west of the Northern Sanctum (where you'll find one of the Acorn Gathering minigame locations).

You should see a Waypoint just before the entrance to the Eternal Forest. Once you enter, your world map will be hiddenthe music changes and suddenly the mists roll in, turning the forest into a maze.

To get through the Eternal Forest after getting all three Goddess Sanctions from Eldin, Lanayra, and Faron, enter the forest to the westthen take the first right heading north.

Go northwest in this open areathen head north through the gap find the Eternal Forest Waypoint.

As long as you've progressed with the main quest to the point where you have to go to the Eternal Forest, you should find General Wright here to progress your quest. If you haven't reached this point of the main quest yet, you'll simply see a strange stone glyph and pedestal in this clearing.

Once you get through the Eternal Forest, Echoes of wisdom players will find a large stone slab across from an empty pedestal. The tablet has six empty slotsand Zelda can only open the way to the ancient ruins by activating six pedestals throughout the Eternal Forest.

To get the Frog Ring add-on, Echoes of Wisdom players must beat the game's fourth main dungeon – or at least most of it.

To activate the pedestal, you must place an ancient orb on it. Next to the stone slab you can Learn Ancient-Orb Echo. Summon this Echo to each pedestal to activate it and light up its respective spot on the tablet.

Each Echoes of wisdom Location of the Eternal Forest pedestal corresponds to its position in the pyramid of slots on the tablet. The first is opposite the Tablet, the next two are in the middle of the Eternal Forest, and the last three are all on its southern edge.

  • The sixth The location of the Eternal Forest pedestal is hidden behind the Deku Baba plant vlin the left center of the forest

You can collect them in any orderbut the fastest is to turn clockwise and activate each pedestal of the Eternal Forest. Watch out for enemies as you explore and return to the tablet once all six are activated.


That concludes your relatively short time in this iteration of the iconic Lost Woods location. After completing the Eternal Forest in Echoes of wisdomZelda must travel the revealed path forward to meet a familiar face, delve into ancient ruins, and face the boss of Echo Zelda.
